Mobile Legends Project Next September should update the Talent System but…

The MOBA game Mobile Legends just revealed that they will cancel PROJECT NEXT, which is scheduled to take place in September 2022. This information was confirmed by the MLBB Skyhook designer in a Twitter post.

Project Next, which was supposed to offer hero and skin improvements in September 2022, will not been updated. Mobile Legends revealed PROJECT Next in July 2020, which will change the character, animation, display, and effect as a whole. The Project Next update in September, not only brought revamps for several heroes but also presented a new emblem system with the name Talent which is said to be removed.

Skyhook explained that they will focus on updating the emblem system in the future The talent system, which is considered the successor to the emblem system in games, requires a detailed architecture, accompanied by a variety of options, making it very challenging for developers working to improve the talent system.

The feedback from the community is also considered to be lacking, and after paying attention, they discovered that the Talent system may actually reduce the fun that players have while playing the game.

As a result, the Project Next upgrade will be removed in September in order to place the player’s playing experience as the primary focus. On the other hand, he stated that Moonton will roll out update that would make the game even easier and simpler to play.
