Riot Games has officially upgraded its mobile game development studio at the Shanghai R&D Center owned by Riot Studio Group. The announcement released by Marc Merrill, President and Co-Founder of Riot Games Global Gaming on the first anniversary of the Shanghai R&D Center is quite interesting.

Riot Games itself has previously released several local studios in China for the development of new and old games, but this time the upgraded Studio will focus on developing mobile games in China and several other countries.

Riot Game Studio in China alone had recruited more than 60 new people for game development a few months ago, and Marc said he would continue to look for young talent for the development. Marc said that Riot Games will continue to increase the investment in Chinese games developed by R&D Teams, in locations ranging from Shanghai, Shenzhen and several cities in China.

This project is aimed at upgrading Riot Games China and creating a new game that can be played for decades with a variety of interesting gameplay for players both in China and around the world. Leo Lin, VP of Riot Games China is the focus of game development from Riot Games which will be further improved in the future. They will combine Riot Games’ core design, creative capabilities, and IP content that is loved by players around the world.

Riot Games China is also aimed at increasing the speed of development and development for several mobile game developments and projects in China. Even so, the office of the R&D Office is still under development and has not officially opened at least until the end of this year or more.
