Skyline Emulator managed to run the Pokemon Sword and Shield game smoothly, it’s possible that it can run Scarlet and Violet with the same FPS in the future. The Nintendo Switch is indeed proud because of the many platforms that can be used to run the console.

How could it not be, game players can play games on TV using these handhelds regardless of the console generation. And now thanks to the capabilities of the emulator, the same thing can be done using the Skyline Emulator. In a Reddit post, a player is reportedly using an Android, HDMI cable and TV to run Pokemon Sword and Shield games.

The player who sent the post image is rumored to be able to run 20-30 FPS from the Pokemon Sword and Shield game on his high-end smartphone. Pokemon Sword and Shield itself was released in 2019, with an improved mechanism that some emulators haven’t been able to emulate.

But interestingly, Skyline can run the emulator well, this indirectly shows that Skyline is the first line for those who don’t have a console, in running the new Pokemon games Violet and Scarlet. Even so, the two new versions of Pokemon have not been released yet, and there is no information on whether Skyline will develop Emulators to be able to run both. But considering that Skyline is a new emulator, it seems that this is not impossible.

Skyline Emulator is an open-source Nintendo Switch emulator for ARMv8 and is a Switch codenamed Project Horizons. If you are interested, you can search for Skyline Emulator on the official website.
