NIKKE Developer SHIFT UP Might be Sued Over a SCAM on Paid Banners

Game developer NIKKE SHIFT UP is going to be sued over a description or scam issue related to their paid special banner. The NIKKE SHIFT UP developer recently presented an official statement related to a new controversy that was carried out for the Goddess of Victory NIKKE game related to their guaranteed paid banner.

If you don’t know, NIKKE presents a special banner called New Commander Special Recruitment. This banner is special because players need to purchase gems, not those that are given free to roll in the game. It might look expensive, but SHIFT UP guarantees that they will provide the best rarity SSR characters that are strong enough.

For NIKKE itself, this paid banner will present 1 SSR NIKKE apart from the recently released Pilgrim NIKKE, Helm and Laplace. Pilgrim itself is a NIKKE manufacturer for characters like Scarlet, Snow White and Noah.

NIKKE developers have been scamming players with their PAID Banner after KR streamer pulls Pilgrim Unit from one-time Guaranteed SSR Banner. from gachagaming

However, a post from Redditor revealed that a Korean streamer managed to get Scarlet, who is a NIKKE character from the Pilgrim faction which they said won’t exist in the banner and only the SSR Unit in the gacha pull that he made.

This revealed that SHIFT UP did not actually state what it seems to the description of the paid banner, and the Korean player’s team will sue SHIFT UP for this. Thanks to this , SHIFT UP inevitably released an official statement regarding this matter.

“If no SSR (including Pilgrim Nikkes and the probabilities are refer to “Rate Info”) were drawn in the first 9 draws, the remaining draw will be a SSR (excluding Pilgrim Nikkes, Helm and Laplace), and the order of the draw results will be displayed randomly”

“We are very sorry for the confusion and misunderstanding caused by the incomplete description, and we will do a better job in describing the rules in the future to prevent this sort of situation from happening again.”

As compensation, players that are affected by the bug will receive 50 New Commander Special Molds which will reportedly grant at least 1 SSR NIKKE apart from Pilgrim NIKKE such as Helm, Laplace and the new characters which will be released on the 8th of December.

Also for the information, as the game developer failed to directly disclose the rate, the game might be sued as it violates a lot of industry-imposed regulations.
