Exciting news for Android emulator fans, as the first ever PS Vita emulator, Vita3K, is coming to the Android platform and will soon be released. Although an official release date has not been announced, a Reddit user by the name of u/TheGreat_DS posted the developer task list from the official Vita3K Discord on Reddit and it appears that the task list is almost complete.

About Vita3K, the New Android PS Vita Emulator!

Vita3K, the PlayStation Vita emulator, can be used on Windows, Linux, Mac, and soon Android operating systems. It’s the world’s first open-source PS Vita emulator, allowing you to play your favourite Vita games, as long as they are compatible with the emulator. You can see a list of compatible games on the official Vita3K website.

PlayStation Vita is a handheld gaming console from Sony that was launched in 2011. It’s a successor to the PSP and features an OLED touchscreen. Sony aimed to provide a console gaming experience on mobile devices with the Vita.

Unfortunately, the Vita was less popular due to its high price and competition with the more popular Nintendo 3DS at the time. For now, the PS Vita emulator, Vita3K, is not yet available for Android as it is still in the development stage. We will provide more information after the official release.
