Mutant Division is a game where a virus accidentally infects ape test subjects and turns them into mutants that consume resources and destroy the environment. Humankind eventually nukes the tropical region with a cobalt bomb to stop the unlimited reproduction of mutants, causing extreme climate change and the end of human civilization.

10 years later, survivors explore the land and the Daybreak League develops a treatment program for mutants. The gameplay involves capturing and collecting mutants, building a sanctuary, awakening beast mutants, and forming alliances while being cautious of potential threats.
