Netmarble Nexus, the development team responsible for the popular Seven Knights franchise, has announced that they will be releasing a remake of the original mobile RPG using Unreal Engine 5. The new game, called The Seven Knights, will replace the original game, which is set to close soon.

The announcement came after Netmarble Nexus apologized for delays in updates to the original Seven Knights game, stating that it would be difficult to resolve various issues properly. While the company did not explicitly state that the game’s outdated programming was to blame, it is possible that this was a contributing factor.

The game will be both a successor and a remake of the original Seven Knights game, with Netmarble Nexus promising that it will inherit and further develop the strengths of its predecessor. However, the project director for The Seven Knights will not be the same as the one from Seven Knights Revolution.

According to Netmarble Nexus, the aim is to have a Closed Beta for the game in 2024, which coincides with the 10th anniversary of the game franchise. The company has promised to provide more updates as the release date approaches.

Fans of the game franchise can look forward to an updated and improved version of the original game. The move to Unreal Engine 5 will likely result in better graphics and more advanced gameplay features.
