KRAFTON, the developer of the popular Battle Royale game BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India), has been working tirelessly to lift the game’s ban in India since it was implemented. The good news is that the Indian government has reportedly agreed to lift the ban on BGMI for a limited time, but with certain conditions.

According to sources, KRAFTON has been in talks with the Indian government to discuss the lifting of the ban. The government has given the green light to this request to lift the ban on BGMI, but only for a limited time, and only after certain changes have been implemented in the game.

KRAFTON BGMI Banned will be Lifted with some changes

One of the main conditions issued is “no blood” in the gameplay. One of the changes is that no blood in the game and it will be changed to a different colour. Along with this, there will be some changes regarding game addiction and relevant changes requested on the server.

BGMI is expected to undergo several changes to comply with Indian government rules. Despite the positive developments, it is still unclear if the main cause of the ban still exists. For those who are unaware, BGMI was banned due to concerns about sharing and mining data in China.

KRAFTON experienced a difficult Q4 that was impacted by the BGMI ban. BGMI is one of KRAFTON’s main sources of revenue, and their latest Q4 revenue report shows that they have been struggling since the BGMI ban in India.

KRAFTON needs to recover BGMI as soon as possible, and the time may be near. Fans can still cheer at this moment, as their favourite title may soon be back on their mobile screens.
