The highly anticipated release of Diablo IV is just around the corner, and Blizzard Entertainment has recently unveiled an exciting opportunity for players to obtain free rewards by simply watching the game on Twitch as a drop. In this blog post, we’ll delve into the details of the Diablo IV Twitch Drops program, outlining the unique weapon recolors and back trophies available for each of the game’s five starting classes.

Twitch Drop Diablo IV Information:

  • Wave 1: Rogue and Necromancer (June 5-11)
  • Wave 2: Sorcerer (June 12-18),
  • Wave 3: Druid (June 19-25),
  • Wave 4: Barbarian (June 26-July 2):

Kicking off the Twitch Drops event, the Rogue and Necromancer classes will take center stage. By tuning in to at least three hours of qualifying Diablo IV content on Twitch, players will unlock exclusive weapon cosmetics for these classes. Additionally, watching an additional three hours (for a total of six) will reward players with unique back cosmetics to enhance their characters.

The Twitch Drops program continues with the Sorcerer, Druid, and Barbarian classes, each featured in their respective waves. Similar to the first wave, players must watch a minimum of six hours of Diablo IV content on Twitch during each designated week to unlock all the exclusive cosmetics.

It is important to note that players need to claim their first three-hour reward before progressing towards the six-hour one. To participate, ensure that your Twitch account is linked with your Battle.net account. While owning a copy of Diablo IV is not mandatory to earn the drops, please be aware that unclaimed rewards will expire after seven days if no Battle.net account is linked.

In addition to the Twitch Drops, Blizzard will be running a “support a streamer” promotion. By gifting two subscriptions to qualifying streamers, players can unlock the Primal Instinct mount. A comprehensive list of eligible streamers will be provided by Blizzard soon, offering players an opportunity to support their favorite content creators while enjoying exclusive in-game rewards.

Diablo IV’s recent playtest, the Server Slam, was largely successful, with players providing valuable feedback to Blizzard. The previous open beta was the largest playtest in the franchise’s history, boasting over 2.6 million participants who earned special beta rewards that will carry over to the full game.

For eager players, Diablo IV will be available on June 2 for those who pre-order the Deluxe or Ultimate editions, while the standard edition will be released on June 6. Pre-order customers can begin pre-loading the game on their chosen platform starting May 30.
