Dragon Quest Champions is an upcoming melee command battle RPG set in the “Dragon Quest” universe. The game follows a young man from a village who embarks on a journey to participate in the Combat Tournaments, which were established by heroes from the past.

The objective is to become a true hero by conquering all the heroic martial arts tournaments. The story takes place in a world of peace, long after the plans of the Demon King to conquer the world were foiled by a hero and his companions. As the protagonist fulfills his promise and faces various challenges, a new legend is set to unfold.
