To ensure long-lasting performance, the smartphone will be equipped with a substantial 5,000 mAh battery.

Redmi is going all-out with the design, incorporating a sleek Crystal Glass design that exudes elegance. The device will sport a punch-hole display, offering an immersive visual experience. Connectivity-wise, you can count on a USB-C port for faster data transfer and charging convenience.

Geekbench leaks have shed some light on the powerhouse behind the Redmi 12 5G. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, ensuring seamless performance and efficient multitasking. Rumors have been circulating that the Redmi 12 5G is a variant of the Redmi Note 12R, which resembles the Redmi 12 4G but comes with the upgraded Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip, a 5MP selfie shooter, and the omission of an ultrawide camera.
