Huohuo Honkai Star Rail, What You Need to Know?

The latest update from Honkai Star Rail is rumored to introduce a new character named Huohuo into the mobile gaming world. While there isn’t much confirmed information available yet, here’s what we know and can expect from this intriguing character.

Who Is Huohuo in Honkai Star Rail?

Described as a pitiable and helpless fox girl (that’s Hoyoverse’s words, not ours), Huohuo’s appearance bears a striking resemblance to Sucrose from Genshin Impact. She is a trainee judge, part of the Ten-Tails Commission responsible for dealing with matters involving long-lived species on the Xianzhou Luofu ship and other Hexafleet vessels.

From the designs we’ve seen, she seems to be surrounded by eerie spirits, and although she is afraid of them, she actively attempts to capture them as part of her duties. One of these supernatural entities seems to be a part of her tail – it’s called a heliobus, a pure energy manifestation resembling flames that can communicate. Her heliobus goes by the name Tail, which explains why there are two voice actors listed in her debut tweet.

Speculations on Huohuo’s Release Date in Honkai Star Rail

If we look at the regular release schedule of Honkai Star Rail updates, it seems that we can expect Huohuo’s release in version 1.5, although we’re not yet certain whether she will debut in the first or second half of the update.

What Do We Know About Huohuo’s Build in Honkai Star Rail?

What we can say for certain is that Huohuo is a wind-element unit on the abundance path and is a five-star unit. This implies that whatever role she assumes, she’s likely to be a valuable addition, possibly serving as a healer and/or damage dealer similar to characters like Natasha or Luocha.

Who Are the Voice Actors for Huohuo in Honkai Star Rail?

In the English version, Huohuo and Tail are voiced by Courtney Lin and Adam Michael Gold. Meanwhile, in the Japanese version, they are voiced by Naganawa Maria and Tirabayashi Takeshi.
