Natsume Newest Harvest Moon Games, The Winds of Anthos! Do you still remember the good old days of Harvest Moon? This beloved game, crafted by Natsume in the past, filled the childhoods of countless gamers. However, the Harvest Moon of yesteryears is different from what it has become today. The original developers, Marvelous, decided to part ways, creating their own games such as Story of Seasons and Rune Factory.

Natsume struggled to create a new Harvest Moon but couldn’t replicate the same popularity as Marvelous’ creations, leading to several unsuccessful attempts. That was until Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos was announced.

Harvest Moon The Winds of Anthos – A Fresh Start:

Diverging from its predecessors, Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos boasts numerous differences, from visual design to gameplay mechanics. With little fanfare and marketing efforts, Natsume recently surprised fans by announcing the release of Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos on Steam and various consoles, including PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

The Steam version of the game is available for 30$, while the PlayStation version ranges from 50-70$. Unfortunately, the Steam version does not support keyboard and mouse controls. Developer Appci Inc. clarified that the game exclusively supports controllers.

The game marks the pinnacle of over 30 games previously published by Natsume. Players will encounter familiar characters like Harvest Sprites and the Harvest Goddess.

The Winds of Anthos Key Feature:

The game introduces five unique villages, each with its own seasons, landscapes, and inhabitants. Players can engage in activities such as hunting Harvest Wisps, taming wild animals, mining, and more in Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos.

As with most farming and animal husbandry games, players can raise cows, sheep, chickens, and more. The game also incorporates marriage concepts, allowing players to choose their main character’s gender and marry one of five eligible partners.

Additional features include expanded pet options, with players able to care for cats, dogs, and even wolves. The game also introduces the Expando-Farm feature, enabling players to move their land into the vast world of Anthos and experiment with various recipes throughout the game.

Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos is set in Anthos, the home of the Harvest Sprites and the guardian spirits of both its residents and nature, including the Harvest Goddess. A volcanic eruption a decade ago led to the separation of the village into five distinct areas.

Believing that the villagers can reunite, the Harvest Goddess sent a magically sealed message in a bottle to the ocean before entering a deep slumber. The game promises an exciting new chapter in the beloved farming simulator series, offering players a fresh and captivating experience in the world of Anthos.
