Last year, NetEase Games introduced a quirky game called Once Human. It’s a survival game that throws players into a post-apocalyptic world filled with bizarre creatures. Closed beta tests have been happening over the past few months, and a new one is starting today.

This latest beta is just for PC users, giving them a sneak peek at features coming in the official launch next year. There’s a bunch to do in this playtest, from exploring the open world to crafting weapons, building bases, and getting into PvE and PvP battles. Check out the detailed nine-minute trailer below to see what’s in store.

If you’re new to Once Human, it’s a free-to-play multiplayer supernatural survival game for PC and mobile. The invasion of Stardust, an extraterrestrial force, turned living creatures into fierce Aberrants with superpowers. The Metas, a group of humans, aim to protect others from this threat.

To tackle these creatures, players need to gather resources, find food, and build strongholds. Amid intense street battles, players can cruise around in an upgradable RV to explore the vast world. The RV serves as a makeshift base with combat capabilities.

The goal of each beta is to introduce new features and expand the game’s lore. Whether surviving Aberrant hordes or uncovering secrets in military bases, players will be entertained for hours in Once Human.
