BGMI Winter Crates, M416 and AKM Glacier Skins Back!

Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) keeps things exciting with rewards in each big update this winter. This time, it’s the 2.9 update with a cool Frozen Kingdom theme. This means winter vibes all around, and the rewards match the chill. The M416 and AKM Glacier skin line has made a comeback through a special Winter Crate, bringing some exclusive goodies along with it.

When the Frozen Kingdom update was teased, fans were hyped for the return of the M416 Glacier skin. However, it didn’t show up right after the 2.9 update, leaving players puzzled. But fear not, two weeks later, the Glacier skin line is back in action through a Winter Crate.

Normally, getting this skin is no walk in the park, and players have to spend a lot of Unknown Cash (UC) to snag it. The Winter Crate event is live from December 16th, 2023, and runs until January 25th, 2024, alongside the 2.9 update.

How to Get M416 or AKM Glacier Skin

Here’s the lowdown on grabbing the M416 or AKM Glacier skin from the Winter Crate:

1. Open BGMI and go to crates in the upper right corner of the launch screen.
2. Find and tap on the Winter Crate.
3. You’ll see two options for drawing. Going for the “open once” option costs 60 UC for one draw.
4. If you’re feeling lucky, go for 10 draws at once, which will set you back 540 UC.

Upgrading M416 Glacier Skin

If you manage to snag the M416 Glacier skin, it’ll be in its basic form. To level it up and get the cool animations, hit box effects, and loot box skin, you’ll need Materials or Modification Material Pieces. Keep in mind, the UC cost for drawing the skins isn’t fixed, so spend wisely, players! Grab your Winter Crate loot before it’s gone!
