Hololive VTuber Sakamata Chloe Takes Break Because COVID
Hololive Vtuber Sakamata Chloe shared on social media that she’s taking a break because she caught COVID-19. In her official announcement, she mentioned her fever was high at 39.3°C (almost 103°F) when she visited the doctor, confirming the diagnosis. Chloe is now focusing on recovery, taking prescribed medicine, and keeping it low-key.
Before the January 4 announcement, she had previously mentioned feeling unwell on January 3, with a fever reaching 37.8°C (~100°F). As for her involvement in the Hololive New Year Cup, an annual Mario Kart tournament featuring members from different branches of the company, it’s uncertain whether her break will impact her participation.
The tournament is set to kick off on January 7, 2024, with Chloe scheduled to compete in Group C alongside fellow performers like Aki Rosenthal, Calliope Mori, IRyS, Kureiji Ollie, and Ouro Kronii.
Sakamata Chloe is a Hololive Vtuber, part of the Secret Society holoX sixth generation. Additionally, she’s a member of the Hololive UMISEA unit, joining forces with Houshou Marine and Gawr Gura. Wishing Chloe a speedy recovery!
