WhatsApp is set to enhance text formatting for Android and iOS users enrolled in the beta program, introducing new features for more expressive messaging. Beta users can now employ the ‘>’ symbol to highlight specific parts of their messages, bringing attention to key information.

Additionally, creating bulleted lists is now made simple with the use of ‘-‘ or ‘*’. For numbered lists, users can insert a number before their message. This expanded range of formatting options, available in Android version 2.24.2.9 and iOS version 23.21.1.75 of the WhatsApp beta app, is anticipated to reach stable channels in the next few weeks.

The update not only allows for clearer communication but also adds a touch of creativity to messages. Users can now emphasize crucial points or organize thoughts seamlessly. This user-friendly enhancement is poised to bring a fresh and enjoyable dynamic to the messaging experience on WhatsApp.

Stay tuned for these exciting updates as they make their way to the stable version, promising a more versatile and expressive platform for users.
