Honkai Star Rail 2.0 Updates with Penacony, 3 New Playable Characters and System Update!

HoYoverse has just announced that Version 2.0 of Honkai Star Rail, titled If One Dreams At Midnight, will be hitting our screens on February 6. This update introduces the much-anticipated realm of Penacony, along with exciting new maps, storylines, and companions. Let’s break down what’s coming without getting too complicated.

HSR 2.0 Embark on a Dreamy Vacation in Penacony

Get ready to explore the mysteries of Penacony in Version 2.0. This new realm will be unveiled as part of the Charmony Festival, where our Crew is invited as honored guests by The Family. Penacony, once a frontier prison, has transformed into a luxurious interstellar hotel named The Reverie.

Now, it’s a renowned cosmic vacation spot. Trailblazers will use the Dreampool to visit Dreamscapes, with the first dream, Golden Hour, being one of the liveliest among the 12 Dreamscapes. Enjoy joyous dances, songs, and incredible illusions with the Dream’s Eye device.

Honkai Star Rail 2.0 New Playable Characters: Black Swan, Sparkle, and Misha

Black Swan, a 5-star character, makes a dazzling debut in Penacony. She’s an outstanding oracle and Memokeeper in the Garden of Recollection. Black Swan uses cards transformed from others’ memories and applies a special stackable DoT effect called Arcana to enemies during combat.

Sparkle, another remarkable 5-star character, is an enigmatic Masked Fool dedicated to pursuing Elation. She boosts the team’s maximum Skill Point and provides strategic options in battle, making her a valuable addition. Additionally, Misha, a local Penaconian and 4-star character, works as a doorman at The Reverie. He becomes a reliable companion, dealing more damage with the team’s Skill Points.

HSR 2.0 Exciting System Optimizations

Version 2.0 brings some convenient improvements for Trailblazers. Fate’s Atlas documents world events in chronological order, helping organize the narrative context. The Relic enhancement process is optimized, allowing easy insertion of materials.

Trailblazers can efficiently filter and switch Relic sets with Relic set recommendations tailored for different characters. Marking, discarding, and salvaging of Relics are also streamlined for a better gaming experience.
