Son Goku is making a comeback in the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima anime series, set to premiere in Fall 2024. A fresh character trailer was dropped recently, giving us a peek at a slightly different look for our favourite hero.

During a special livestream at the Dragon Ball Daima Special Panel in the DRAGON BALL Games Battle Hour 2024, Akira Toriyama, the creator, shared some cool stuff. He revealed original character illustrations and designs, featuring familiar faces like Goku and Krillin, as well as some new villains. There’s even a self-portrait of Toriyama himself:

If you’re a fan of Toriyama’s work, you’ll know that his series inspired the Dragon Ball Super TV anime. And let’s not forget the awesome anime films, with the latest one being Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO in 2022.
