This midrange device features the new Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, a curved 6.7-inch pOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a sizable 5,000 mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.
Key Features and Specifications for Motorola S50 Neo
The S50 Neo comes in three stylish colors – Gray, Olivine, and Surf – developed in collaboration with Pantone. The latter two colors feature a unique nanotexture back that offers both a skin-friendly feel and durability.
On the rear, you’ll find a 50MP main camera equipped with a Sony IMX882 sensor, boasting an F/1.79 aperture and 4-to-1 pixel binning for improved low-light performance. Complementing this is an 8MP ultrawide lens that covers a 118-degree field of view. Meanwhile, the front-facing punch hole houses a 32MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, the S50 Neo is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, coupled with options for 8GB or 12GB of RAM and storage variants ranging from 256GB to 512GB, expandable via microSD card. It runs on Android 14 out of the box, ensuring a smooth user experience.
Motorola Unveils New S50 Neo Availability and Pricing
The Motorola S50 Neo starts at CNY 1,399 (approximately $192) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. There’s also a 12GB RAM with 256GB storage option priced at CNY 1,599 ($220), and a top-tier model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage available for CNY 1,899 ($261). The device will go on sale in China starting Friday, June 28, with international availability expected under the Moto G85 branding.
