The latest Doors: The Outdoors Subfloor Update introduces a brand-new currency called Stardust, which plays an important role in unlocking new skin chromas and directly entering Rooms or the Outdoors from the lobby. Currently, it costs 10 Stardust to enter Rooms, while the Outdoors is free until August 25, 2025, after which it will also cost 10 Stardust. If you want to stock up quickly, here are the four best ways to farm Stardust in the game.

1. Buying Stardust with Robux

If you have extra Robux to spare, this is the fastest way to get Stardust. Simply purchase it directly from the shop. While it’s the quickest option, it’s not recommended unless you’re ready to spend real money regularly.

2. Redeeming Codes

Occasionally, developers release codes that reward Stardust. No new code is available yet, but with the third anniversary event coming, players can expect some to drop soon. Keep an eye on official announcements so you can redeem them as soon as possible. Check out our Doors Codes for more redeemable rewards!

3. Completing Achievements

Some in-game achievements reward large amounts of Stardust. For example, the Lotus Revival achievement gives 30 Stardust, and other hard challenges like Hotel Hell or Not Five Stars also provide rewards. However, achievements are a one-time source, so you’ll need another method for ongoing farming.

4. Grinding Floors (Best Method)

Grinding through certain floors is the most efficient free method to earn Stardust consistently. Here’s how different floors perform:

  • Back Doors, Hotel, and Mines – Low drop rates; not worth the effort.
  • Outdoors Subfloor – Decent, but requires searching vine loot crates with shears. You can get about 5–6 Stardust per run.
  • Rooms – The top choice. Stardust spawns visibly (no drawers needed), and you can collect multiple in a single run. Players have reported getting 10 Stardust by Room 48. Plus, you earn Knobs at the same time, making this the most efficient grind spot.

Tip: If you only want rewards and not a long run, stop around Room 250 for a solid haul. Once the current bug with manual Room entry is fixed, you’ll be able to avoid spending an extra 10 Stardust.

While there are multiple ways to get Stardust, Rooms farming stands out as the fastest and most efficient. Use achievements and codes for extra boosts, and only consider Robux purchases if you want an instant top-up. Stock up now, especially before the Outdoors entry fee kicks in after August 25 in Doors.
