Slap Battles Guide How to Get and Use Architect & Retribution Glove

Slap Battles continues to expand with new gloves that add unique abilities and playstyles. On September 19, 2025, two new gloves were introduced: Architect and Retribution. Each glove offers different mechanics, strengths, and weaknesses that can change the way you approach matches. This guide will explain how to get them and how to use their abilities effectively.

How to Get Architect Glove

The Architect glove costs 19,500 slaps. Its design features a white glove scribbled over with black pen-like markings, fitting its chaotic theme.

Architect Ability – Evil Box

Architect’s ability, Evil Box, lets you create a box in front of you. Anyone standing in the area when the box appears will get trapped inside. The box can be destroyed by slapping it, which causes an explosion that knocks back all nearby players except the user.

  • Power: 55
  • Speed: 16
  • Cooldown: 10 seconds

Pros of Architect

  • Great for trapping players who are chasing you.
  • If enemies break the box, the explosion will knock them back, giving you space to escape or counterattack.

Cons of Architect

  • If you hide inside your own box, opponents can still break it and expose you.

How to Get Retribution Glove

The Retribution glove costs 23,500 slaps. It’s visually striking, appearing as a red clenched fist with spikes covering it.

Retribution Abilities – Victim’s Judgement & Forgive and Forget

Retribution comes with both passive and active skills:

  • Victim’s Judgement (Passive/E Ability): When an opponent slaps you, your screen turns red and you become “enraged.” In this state, you can only target the highlighted player, but your knockback increases from 50 to 80. Using the E key, you can pull yourself directly to the highlighted opponent.
  • Forgive and Forget (R Ability): After 19 seconds, you can deactivate the enraged state manually, or it will end automatically after 30 seconds or if the marked opponent dies.
  • Cooldowns: 10 seconds (normal), 2 seconds (enraged), 19 seconds for Forgive and Forget.
  • Power: 50/80
  • Speed: 15/17

Pros of Retribution

  • Perfect for countering fast gloves, since Victim’s Judgement pulls you straight to the target.
  • Increased knockback in enraged mode makes you very dangerous in 1v1 fights.

Cons of Retribution

  • Judgement doesn’t work well while you’re ragdolled, leaving you vulnerable to stunning gloves.
  • Limited to attacking only the highlighted player during enraged mode.

Both the Architect and Retribution gloves bring new tactical depth to Slap Battles. Architect is best for players who like setting traps and controlling enemy movement, while Retribution is ideal for aggressive players who thrive in duels and chase-down scenarios. If you’ve saved up enough slaps, these gloves are worth adding to your collection.
