Ink Games Guards Power & More Update Guide – New Pity System, & Codes!
The newest Ink Games “Guards Power & More” Update is here, and it’s easily one of the biggest updates yet. It adds long-awaited systems like Pity Rolls, Guard Powers, and tons of balance fixes that completely change how the game feels. Whether you play as a Guard or a regular player, there’s a lot to cover — from new mythic powers to anti-cheat upgrades and major reworks in several modes. Let’s break it all down.
Pity System – Rewarding Active Players
The new Pity System was designed to help players who play often instead of just those who spend. Here’s how it works:
- Roll Requirements: 200 rolls on weekdays and 150 rolls on weekends.
- Unlocks at Level 20: You can’t use pity rolls until level 20, though all rolls before that still count toward pity progress.
- Mythic Reset: If you pull a mythic before reaching your pity limit, the pity counter resets to 0. If you reach the guaranteed mythic, pity locks until the next update.
- Auto-Reset After 2 Weeks: If no update drops after two weeks, locked pity resets automatically.
Free Pity Bonus:
- 25 pity for players with 25+ wins
- 35 pity for 150+ wins
- 45 pity for 250+ wins
- 55 pity for 350+ wins
This adjustment helps balance things for existing players.
New Guard Powers & Mythic Abilities
This update introduces five new Guard Powers, one for each rarity. The highlight is the Mythic Power “Reality Jumper”, which lets you copy a random Mythic power for 90 seconds, followed by a 20-second cooldown. Other new features include:
- Guards in Tug of War & Hide & Seek
- Knife Stealing in Hide & Seek: Dodge six times in a row to trigger a QTE and steal the seeker’s knife.
- Player Servers for Newcomers: Players with fewer than four wins get their own beginner-friendly servers.
- New Emotes: Three limited-time emotes and nine new AFK Shop emotes.
- Peabert Returns: Grants four guard power rolls and four player power rolls — total of eight.
Guard Gameplay Rework
Guards now have more active roles in different modes:
- Tug of War: Guards can collect bodies and put them in coffins for Won or even shoot the rope to eliminate all players.
- Hide & Seek: Guards appear in the last 40 seconds and can kill seekers but not hiders. They can also enter the incinerator to burn bodies for Won while waiting.
These changes make playing as a guard more interactive and strategic than ever before.
Anti-Cheat Improvements
Cheating has dropped drastically, with reports falling from 2,000+ daily to only 184. Two developers now work full-time on maintaining the anti-cheat system, ensuring smoother gameplay for everyone.
Balance Adjustments
Some of the biggest balancing tweaks include:
- Playable Guards: 1 guard per 8 players (previously 1 per 5).
- RLGL Mode: Reduced damage from bullets, removed sniper aim assist when not scoped, and increased guard kill requirements.
- Glass Bridge: Skipping now limited to 2 tiles.
- Lightning God: Reduced damage and healing efficiency with each use.
- Timestop: 10% larger hitboxes and 30% cooldown reduction.
- Super Strength: Cooldown reduced (2x instead of 3x).
- Rebel Mode: Guard and player damage scales depending on team balance.
Quality of Life Updates
A few small but handy improvements include:
- Guards now cost 26 million Won less to buy.
- Players can now see enemy health after damaging them.
- Timestop now freezes ragdolls and velocity.
- Added auto-skip cutscene setting.
- Prevented double-tapping during QTE events.
