All 5 New Anime Guardians Artifact Explained!
Anime Guardians just dropped a set of new artifacts, and these items completely change how the game is played. The biggest highlight is the ability to max every unit the moment you place them, even on the very first wave. With the right artifact combo, farming and clearing stages becomes faster than ever. This guide breaks down how each new artifact works, which ones are worth crafting, and why two of them are already considered game-breaking.
All New Artifacts Anime Guardians
The latest update adds several artifacts you can craft through Senko. Each artifact has a different effect, but only a few stand out as truly useful for both farming and clearing content. Below is a simple breakdown of each one.
1. Abyssal Frost Aegis
This is the strongest artifact in the entire batch.
Effect: Any unit you place instantly becomes max upgrade.
Why it’s broken:
- You no longer need to open the unit manager.
- Wave 1 clears become instant.
- Farming stages become extremely quick.
- Supports like Robin or Lust Subaru turn your whole team into max units the moment they enter the field.
This artifact alone changes the meta and speeds up every mode.
2. Plague Bloom Scepter
- This artifact gives 15,000 yen on every unit placement.
Use it on a farm unit such and you’ll get enough money to place your whole lineup on wave one. When combined with Abyssal Frost Aegis, you instantly spawn a fully upgraded team without waiting for income. This combo is currently the strongest setup in the game.
3. Eclipseorn Fang
- Effect: Applies a random Exodia buff such as increased damage, attack speed, or range.
This artifact is fun but inconsistent. The 300% damage buff is strong when it activates, but since it’s random, it’s not reliable for serious runs. For most players, a Cursed Book still gives better long-term value.
4. Soulforged Warden
- Effect: Forces every attack to become full AOE.
This sounds strong on paper but isn’t needed on most units. Many late-game units already have big coverage, and the bonus effect doesn’t make a noticeable impact in most modes. It’s one of the weakest artifacts this update.
5. Arcanum Sage Wand
- Effect: Doubles the hit count on every attack.
Doubling hits means double debuffs, double stacks, and faster passive buildup. While not as dominant as the two top artifacts, this one is still solid for specific units that rely on stacking effects.
How to Craft the Artifacts
You can craft all artifacts at Senko.
- Walk past Mob and head to Senko.
- Collect event parts from the new event shop.
- Craft the artifacts using event materials plus one million gems and coins.
Most of the materials can be farmed quickly with a simple macro.
Out of all the new artifacts, only two truly change the game: the instant max upgrade artifact and the yen-on-placement artifact. The rest are situational or outclassed by existing options. As the game keeps growing, each update feels easier than the last, and these artifacts push that trend even further. If a nerf arrives, it will likely target the Frost Aegis because it is too strong when paired with farm units and full-map supports.
The new artifacts bring a massive shift to the Anime Guardians meta. With Abyssal Frost Aegis and Plague Bloom Scepter, you can skip early-wave setups and start every match with a full maxed lineup. Whether you’re farming, running events, or pushing higher difficulties, these two items offer the fastest progress the game has ever seen. If you only craft a few artifacts, make sure these two are at the top of your list, because right now they define the entire update.
