Slayerbound Update 2 finally dropped, and this patch adds a huge amount of new content to the game. Players can now test two brand-new fighting styles, jump into ranked PvP matches, try endless raids, and use improved gun mechanics. On top of that, the update also includes several balance changes for existing styles and demon arts. If you have been waiting for more endgame content and PvP improvements, this update changes a lot of the gameplay experience. Here is everything important added in Slayerbound Update 2.
New Styles and Arts in Slayerbound
One of the biggest highlights of the update is the addition of two new combat styles: Speedster Art and Insect Style. Both come with their own unique skills and playstyles.
Speedster Art Skills
Speedster Art focuses heavily on movement, fast combos, and aggressive pressure. This style is great for players who enjoy quick attacks and mobility-focused gameplay.
The new abilities include:
- Hot Income
- Turbo Assault
- Charging Sprint
- Sonic Rush
- Overdrive
Most of these skills allow players to close distance quickly while maintaining strong offensive pressure. Speedster Art feels especially useful during PvP fights because of how mobile it is.
Insect Style Skills
Insect Style is built around poison damage and combo attacks. It also comes with a passive skill called Poison Sting.
The full move list includes:
- Caprice
- Enticing Combo
- Bee Sting
- Dragon Fly Dance
- Dance Of The Centipede
This style works well for players who prefer sustained damage and stylish combo chains. The poison effect can slowly pressure enemies during longer fights.
New Ranked and Raid Modes
Update 2 also adds proper game modes for players who want more competitive content.
Ranked PvP
Players can now enter ranked matches in multiple formats:
- 1v1
- 2v2
- 3v3
This finally gives PvP-focused players a proper progression system and more organized matchmaking.
Endless Raid Mode
Raid mode now includes an endless mode where players continue fighting waves of enemies for rewards and survival records. This mode is useful for farming and testing builds against large groups.
New Features Added in Update 2
The developers also added several quality-of-life improvements and progression systems.
Clan Storage
Players can now store items inside Clan Storage, making it easier to manage equipment and resources with clan members.
New Rank Progression
The rank system has been expanded with new progression paths:
- Slayer Max
- Hinoto Oni Max
- Lower Moon
This gives players more long-term progression goals after reaching earlier ranks.
Shockwave Move Added
A brand-new move called Flashing Willow was added to Shockwave. This move works as a block breaker and can also be aimed manually during combat.
Lobby and UI Improvements
Several smaller improvements were also added:
- Intro skip button
- Teleport to lobby button
- Better gun visuals
- Gun ammo system
- Headshot damage for guns
- Ability to aim guns
