Survive Zombie Arena continues adding stronger and more creative classes, and one of the newest legendary classes getting attention right now is the Celestial class. This class comes with massive space-themed abilities, including meteor attacks, black holes, and explosive cosmic damage that can wipe out large groups of zombies very quickly.

The Celestial class can be obtained from the Galactic Crate with only a 0.25% drop chance, making it one of the rarer classes currently available in the game. Because of its flashy abilities and huge area damage, many players immediately started wondering if Celestial is finally stronger than classes like Bastion or Necromancer.

After testing the class through multiple waves, here is everything you need to know about the Celestial class in Survive Zombie Arena.

How to Get the Celestial Class

The Celestial class is available through the Galactic Crate. However, the drop rate is extremely low at only 0.25%, meaning players may need to grind for quite a while before unlocking it.

Since the class is considered legendary-tier, the abilities are naturally much stronger than standard classes. Still, unlocking the class is only the beginning because players also need enough minerals to fully upgrade its skills and make the class perform properly during higher waves.

Celestial Class Skills Explained

The Celestial class comes with three main abilities:

  • Starfall
  • Black Hole
  • Space Bomb

All three abilities focus heavily on area damage and crowd control instead of direct single-target damage.

Survive Zombie Arena Celestial Class Guide – Skills, Damage, Best Uses & Ranking!

1. Starfall

Starfall summons multiple stars from the sky that crash into zombies across a large area. The skill has very strong AoE damage and becomes even stronger after upgrades because more stars fall while damage also increases.

Visually, this is probably the most impressive move in the class. The ability can clear huge groups of zombies quickly during crowded waves, especially once enemies begin stacking together.

The biggest problem with Starfall is the cost. Using the move requires 7,500 minerals, which is extremely expensive. During early waves, this can completely drain your resources after only one use.

Because of that, Starfall feels much stronger during higher waves where zombies spawn more frequently and minerals become easier to farm.

2. Black Hole

Black Hole is one of the best crowd-control abilities in Survive Zombie Arena right now. The move creates a black hole that pulls nearby zombies inward before crushing them together.

This ability becomes extremely useful whenever players start getting surrounded. Instead of trying to escape manually, the Black Hole can instantly gather enemies into one location while dealing strong damage at the same time.

The skill costs 2,500 minerals, which is still expensive, but much more manageable compared to Starfall. If used properly against large groups, players can recover a good portion of their minerals back through zombie kills.

This is probably the most balanced skill in the Celestial kit because it provides both utility and damage.

3. Space Bomb

Space Bomb is surprisingly the most efficient skill in the entire class. The move works similarly to a grenade, allowing players to throw a cosmic explosive directly into crowds of zombies.

The explosion deals solid AoE damage and can clear weaker enemies very quickly. What makes the ability especially strong is how spammable it becomes during later waves. Since zombies appear in much larger numbers, players can often recover minerals immediately after using the skill.

During testing, Space Bomb consistently performed better than expected and ended up becoming one of the most practical Celestial abilities overall.

Is Celestial Good for Solo Play?

Celestial can work solo, but it is not the most beginner-friendly class for solo players. The biggest issue comes from the heavy mineral costs attached to almost every ability. During waves 1 to 30, players may struggle to generate enough minerals to constantly use Starfall and Black Hole efficiently.

This can make the class feel weaker early on despite its strong abilities. However, once players reach higher waves with massive zombie spawns, Celestial becomes much stronger because mineral farming speeds up dramatically. For that reason, Celestial performs better:

  • In multiplayer lobbies
  • During higher waves
  • In crowded zombie situations
  • With efficient farming setups

Best Way to Use the Celestial Class

The best strategy for Celestial is focusing on crowd management instead of spamming abilities randomly. A good rotation usually looks like this:

  1. Gather zombies together
  2. Use Black Hole to group them tightly
  3. Throw multiple Space Bombs into the crowd
  4. Save Starfall for emergency clearing or massive waves

Space Bomb should honestly be your primary farming tool because it offers the best balance between cost and effectiveness. Players should also fully upgrade the class skills as soon as possible. Without upgrades, the abilities feel noticeably weaker and less efficient.

Celestial Class Strengths

The Celestial class has several major advantages:

  • Excellent AoE damage
  • Strong crowd control
  • Very flashy visual effects
  • Strong scaling during higher waves
  • Great for zombie clusters
  • Strong multiplayer performance

Once enough minerals are available, the class becomes much more dangerous and can clear waves very quickly.

Celestial Class Weaknesses

Despite being powerful, the class still has some important weaknesses:

  • Extremely expensive abilities
  • Weak during early waves
  • Resource-heavy gameplay
  • Less efficient for solo players
  • Requires proper skill timing

Players who constantly spam Starfall too early may quickly run out of minerals and struggle to recover.

Is Celestial Better Than Bastion or Necromancer?

Right now, Bastion still appears to be the strongest overall class in Survive Zombie Arena. The defensive power and overall consistency are simply too strong compared to most other classes. Necromancer also remains incredibly powerful thanks to its summon-based gameplay and strong overall survivability. That places Celestial slightly below both classes overall, even though it is still considered extremely strong. The current ranking looks something like this:

  1. Bastion
  2. Necromancer
  3. Celestial

Even though Celestial ranks third, it is still one of the strongest legendary classes currently available in the game.

Is the Celestial Class Worth Getting?

If you enjoy flashy abilities, huge AoE attacks, and space-themed powers, Celestial is definitely worth grinding for. The class becomes especially fun during higher waves where large zombie groups allow the abilities to shine properly.

However, players should understand that Celestial requires smart resource management. This is not a class where you can spam every ability endlessly without thinking about mineral costs.

For players who mainly enjoy solo gameplay, Bastion or Necromancer may still feel easier to use overall. But if you enjoy high-damage AoE gameplay and multiplayer wave clearing, Celestial can become one of the most satisfying classes in Survive Zombie Arena right now.
