Fisch Crews Update Guide – How Crews, Ratings, Challenges, and Rewards Work!

The latest Fisch update introduces one of the biggest social features added to the game so far: Crews. This new system allows players to create groups, recruit members, complete challenges together, and compete for leaderboard rankings. If you’re planning to jump into the update as soon as it goes live, understanding how the Crew system works can help you get a head start. From creating a crew to increasing member capacity and earning rating points, here’s everything you need to know.

Where to Find the Crew House

Once the update launches, head to Moosewood and make your way toward the lighthouse area. Near the back of the island, you’ll find the new Crew House. This location serves as the main hub for all crew-related activities. Inside and around the building, you’ll find several important NPCs:

  • Crew Overseer
  • Crew Herald
  • Crew Architect
  • Daily Challenges Board
  • Weekly Challenges Board

Each NPC handles a different part of the Crew system.

Crew Overseer Explained

The Crew Overseer is where players can view the global Crew leaderboard. Using this menu, you can:

  • View top-ranked crews
  • Check crew ratings
  • See member counts
  • Search for specific crews
  • Send join requests

One interesting feature is the monthly rating reset. Based on current testing, crew rankings appear to reset every month. While rewards haven’t been officially confirmed yet, many players expect leaderboard prizes to be tied to these resets. This means active crews will likely need to maintain their ranking every month rather than relying on old progress.

Crew Herald Features

The Crew Herald manages your own crew. If you’re the founder, you’ll have access to additional management options such as:

  • Inviting players
  • Managing members
  • Viewing crew statistics
  • Adjusting join settings

Crew founders can choose from multiple joining options:

  • Anyone can join
  • Friends only
  • Invite only

The system also supports different ranks within a crew, including Founder, Officer, and regular Member roles.

This gives larger crews more flexibility when organizing players and managing applications.

How to Increase Crew Capacity

At launch, every crew starts with a maximum capacity of 10 members. However, crews can expand by increasing their rating and contributing cash through the Crew Architect. Current upgrade requirements include:

10 to 20 Members

  • 1,000 Crew Rating
  • 50,000 Cash

20 to 30 Members

  • 5,000 Crew Rating
  • 250,000 Cash

30 to 40 Members

  • 25,000 Crew Rating
  • 1.25 Million Cash

40 to 50 Members

  • 100,000 Crew Rating
  • 6.25 Million Cash

The current maximum crew size appears to be 50 members.

Because later upgrades require massive rating totals, recruiting active players will be extremely important.

Crew Name Rules

Players creating a crew should keep a few restrictions in mind. Crew names:

  • Can be up to 20 characters long
  • Cannot contain numbers
  • Cannot use special symbols or punctuation
  • Must be unique

The update also includes several preset crew emblems, although the current selection appears fairly limited. More customization options may be added in future updates.

How Crew Rating Works

Crew Rating is the primary progression system for crews. The easiest way to earn rating is by completing Daily and Weekly Challenges. Every completed challenge rewards rating points that contribute directly to your crew’s overall score. Examples of challenge rewards include:

  • Crew Rating Points
  • Reward Spins
  • Special items

Possible spin rewards currently include:

  • Blue Moon Totem
  • Enchant Relics
  • Starlight Worms
  • Sovereign Relics
  • Starfall Totems

The more active your members are, the faster your crew rating will increase.

Fishing Also Contributes Rating

Challenges aren’t the only source of rating. During testing, catching rare fish also appeared to increase crew rating. Fish that seem to contribute include:

  • Exotic Fish
  • Divine Fish
  • Secret Fish

Lower-tier catches may not provide rating points, although this could change before the update officially launches. Because of this system, active fishers can contribute to their crew even when they are not actively completing challenge objectives.

Crew Tags and Ranks

After joining a crew, the crew name will appear above your character. Your rank will also be displayed alongside the crew name. For example, founders will have a Founder tag, while officers and regular members will display their respective positions. This makes it easy to identify leadership roles while exploring the world.

The Crews Update adds a brand-new layer of progression to Fisch by encouraging teamwork and competition. Players can create crews, climb leaderboards, complete challenges, earn exclusive rewards, and work together to unlock larger member capacities.

Although the system is still being tested and some values may change before the official release, the foundation looks promising. If you plan to join a competitive crew, focus on completing daily and weekly challenges, catching high-rarity fish, and contributing rating points whenever possible. With monthly leaderboard resets and future expansions already hinted at, Crews could become one of the most important long-term features in Fisch.
