Devil Fruit Awakenings are one of the strongest upgrades you can unlock in Haze Piece. Once a fruit is awakened, it gains access to new abilities or enhanced versions of existing skills, making it much more powerful for grinding, boss fights, raids, and PvP.

However, awakening a fruit isn’t as simple as reaching a certain level. You’ll need to increase your Fruit Mastery and collect a special material dropped by specific bosses. In this guide, we’ll explain how the Fruit Awakening system works and list every awakening currently available in Haze Piece.

How to Awaken Devil Fruits in Haze Piece

To awaken a Devil Fruit, you’ll need to visit the Poneglyph, which serves as the awakening location in Haze Piece.

Before the Poneglyph allows you to awaken your fruit, you must meet the following requirements:

• Reach 300 Mastery with the Devil Fruit you want to awaken.
• Obtain the required awakening material for that fruit.

Once both requirements are completed, interact with the Poneglyph to unlock the awakened version of your Devil Fruit.

Below are all known Fruit Awakenings currently available or planned for Haze Piece.

Gear 4 (G4)

Gear 4 is one of the first major awakenings available for Gum users.

Requirements:

• 300 Fruit Mastery
• Haki Book

How to Get the Material:

• Defeat the Gear 4 Boss in Sea 1 to obtain the Haki Book.

Once awakened, Gear 4 significantly increases the Gum Fruit’s combat potential and serves as an important step toward unlocking Gear 5.

Gear 5 (G5)

Gear 5 is currently one of the strongest awakenings available for Gum users.

Requirements:

• 300 Fruit Mastery
• Drums of Liberation

How to Get the Material:

• Defeat the Dragon Boss in Sea 2.

Gear 5 unlocks even more powerful abilities, making it a top choice for players focused on late-game content.

Electricity Awakening

The Electricity Fruit is planned to receive its own awakening.

Requirements:

• 300 Fruit Mastery
• Raijin Core

How to Get the Material:

• Defeat the Raijin Boss in Sea 3.

At the time of writing, this awakening has not been released.

Dragon Hybrid Awakening

Dragon Hybrid is another upcoming awakening planned for future updates.

Requirements:

• 300 Fruit Mastery
• Dragon’s Heart

How to Get the Material:

• Defeat the Hybrid Boss in Sea 3.

This awakening is currently unavailable but is expected to be added in a future update.

Venom Awakening

Venom users will eventually be able to unlock an awakened version of their fruit.

Requirements:

• 300 Fruit Mastery
• Hydra Venom Core

How to Get the Material:

• Defeat the Venom Boss in Sea 2.
• The Hydra Venom Core has a 2.5% drop chance.

Like several other awakenings, Venom Awakening has not yet been released.

Tips for Unlocking Fruit Awakenings Faster

Since every awakening requires 300 Fruit Mastery, it’s a good idea to focus on using the same Devil Fruit consistently while completing quests, farming NPCs, and defeating bosses. This will help you reach the mastery requirement much sooner.

You should also prepare for boss farming, as most awakening materials only drop from specific bosses. If you’re farming a rare item like the Hydra Venom Core, expect to defeat the boss multiple times due to its low drop rate.
