Haki is one of the most important mechanics in Haze Piece. No matter which Devil Fruit, Sword, or Fighting Style you use, unlocking Haki will greatly improve your character’s performance. Some Haki types increase your damage, while others help you avoid attacks and survive longer against powerful enemies.

As you progress through the game, you’ll also be able to evolve your Haki into stronger versions by completing special quests and reaching certain milestones. This guide explains every Haki currently available in Haze Piece, how to unlock each one, and what benefits they provide.

What Is Haki in Haze Piece?

Haki is a special combat ability that enhances your character beyond normal stats. Unlike Devil Fruits, Haki can be learned by almost every player and works alongside your existing build. There are currently three Haki-related systems available in Haze Piece:

  • Armament Haki (Buso Haki)
  • Observation Haki (Ken Haki)
  • Conqueror’s Haki (Exclusive to the D. Clan race)

Each one serves a different purpose and can be upgraded as you continue playing.

1. Armament Haki (Buso Haki)

Haze Piece All Skills Guide – How to Unlock Every Skill, Haki & Fighting Style!

Armament Haki, often called Buso Haki, strengthens your physical attacks and allows you to hit Logia-type Devil Fruit users that would normally be immune to damage. Unlike Devil Fruit abilities, Armament Haki only increases the damage of your Fighting Styles and Sword skills. It does not boost the damage dealt by Devil Fruit attacks.

How to Unlock Armament Haki

To obtain Armament Haki, visit the Buso Haki trainer and purchase the skill. After unlocking it, activate Haki while fighting enemies to begin earning experience toward future upgrades.

Armament Haki Evolution

To complete the final upgrade, you’ll need to:

  • Get hit by enemies 1,000 times.
  • Return to the NPC.
  • Spend 200 Gems.

After finishing these requirements, your Armament Haki reaches its maximum level.

2. Observation Haki (Ken Haki)

Haze Piece All Race Guide – Every Race, Race V2 Buffs & How to Unlock Them

Observation Haki focuses on defense instead of offense. It lets your character automatically dodge incoming attacks, making difficult boss fights and PvP battles much more manageable. Unlike Armament Haki, Observation Haki levels up by successfully avoiding enemy attacks rather than defeating enemies.

How to Unlock Observation Haki

Purchase Observation Haki from its trainer. Once unlocked, continue fighting enemies and dodge attacks to gain progress toward higher levels.

You’ll need to:

  • Defeat 5 players.
  • Defeat 10 different island bosses in Sea 2.
  • Pay 10 million Beli.

Completing these objectives unlocks Observation Haki Level 6 along with its advanced tracking abilities.

Ultra Instinct Cosmetic

Observation Haki also includes a hidden cosmetic reward for dedicated players. Once you’ve reached 20,000 successful dodges, return to the Observation Expert. Requirements include:

  • 20,000 dodges
  • 2 Shrine Relics
  • 1,000 Gems

Completing the quest unlocks:

  • Ultra Instinct appearance
  • Ultra Instinct title

This reward is cosmetic only and does not improve your combat stats.

Conqueror’s Haki

Haze Piece

Conqueror’s Haki is exclusive to players using the D. Clan race. Instead of being learned from a trainer, this ability comes as one of the race’s passive bonuses.

D. Clan Race V1

  • +5% Health
  • +5% Stamina
  • Unlock Conqueror’s Haki
  • Uses 250 Stamina

D. Clan Race V2

  • +10% Health
  • +10% Stamina
  • Reduces Conqueror’s Haki cost to 200 Stamina

If you frequently use Conqueror’s abilities during combat, upgrading the D. Clan race to V2 is highly recommended.

Haki Titles

Unlocking and upgrading Haki also rewards several exclusive titles.

Armament Haki

  • Ironfist – Reach Armament Haki Level 1.
  • Void-Forged Arms – Reach Armament Haki Level 5.

Observation Haki

  • Clairvoyant – Unlock Observation Haki.
  • The All-Seeing – Reach Observation Haki Level 6.
  • Ultra Instinct – Complete the Ultra Instinct cosmetic quest.

Which Haki Should You Upgrade First?

If you’re still progressing through the game, Armament Haki is usually the best first investment. The extra damage makes leveling, farming bosses, and defeating tougher enemies much faster, while also allowing you to damage Logia users.

Once your damage is strong enough, focus on upgrading Observation Haki. The additional dodges become increasingly valuable in late-game content, especially during difficult boss fights and PvP matches where surviving longer can make a huge difference.

Haki plays a major role in every stage of Haze Piece, from the early game to the toughest endgame content. Whether you’re increasing your damage with Armament Haki, improving your survivability through Observation Haki, or taking advantage of the exclusive Conqueror’s Haki from the D. Clan race, investing time into these upgrades will make your character much stronger. As you continue leveling, be sure to complete the evolution quests so you can unlock every Haki upgrade currently available in the game.
