Unlocking new skills is one of the best ways to make your character stronger in Haze Piece. Besides collecting powerful Devil Fruits and weapons, you’ll also need to learn movement abilities, Haki upgrades, fighting styles, and special awakenings to keep up with tougher enemies. Some skills can be purchased with Beli, while others require high levels, Gems, materials, or long questlines. This guide covers every major skill trainer in Haze Piece, where to find them, and the requirements needed to unlock each ability.

Devil Fruit Awakening (Poneglyph)

The Poneglyph allows players to awaken specific Devil Fruits, unlocking stronger versions of their abilities. Before awakening any fruit, you’ll need to meet two basic requirements:

  • Reach 300 Mastery on the Devil Fruit.
  • Collect the required awakening material.

Each fruit uses a different material that usually drops from powerful bosses.

Current Fruit Awakenings

  • Gear 4 – Requires the Haki Book, dropped by the Gear 4 Boss in Sea 1.
  • Gear 5 – Requires the Drums of Liberation, dropped by the Dragon Boss in Sea 2.
  • Electricity – Requires the Raijin Core, obtained from the Raijin Boss in Sea 3 (currently unreleased).
  • Dragon Hybrid – Requires Dragon’s Heart, dropped by the Hybrid Boss in Sea 3 (currently unreleased).
  • Venom – Requires the Hydra Venom Core, which has a 2.5% drop chance from the Venom Boss in Sea 2 (currently unreleased).

Fruit awakenings greatly improve your abilities, making them one of the biggest late-game upgrades available.

Armament Haki Evolution

Buso Haki

Buso Haki is essential once you begin fighting stronger enemies, especially Logia Fruit users.

Its primary effect is allowing your attacks to damage enemies that would normally be immune because of their elemental Devil Fruit powers.

You can later upgrade Buso Haki through the Armament Expert to increase its overall effectiveness.

Observation Haki

Observation Haki grants the ability to dodge incoming attacks automatically. It becomes increasingly valuable in boss fights and PvP since higher levels provide more dodges before the skill enters cooldown.

As you evolve Observation Haki, you’ll unlock additional utility features that make tracking other players much easier.

Black Leg Fighting Style

Black Leg is one of the earliest fighting styles available.

  • Baratie (Sea Restaurant)

Electro specializes in fast attacks infused with electrical damage, making it an effective fighting style for many PvE encounters.

Requirements for each Gear 5 skill:

  • Level 3000.
  • Already own Gear 2.
  • Already own Gear 4.
  • 500,000 Beli.
  • 100 Gems.

Each purchase unlocks one Gear 5 skill at a time, so you’ll need to return to the trainer if you want every ability.

Learning new skills is a major part of progressing through Haze Piece. While basic abilities like Flash Step and Sky Walk are easy to unlock, advanced upgrades such as Fruit Awakenings, Observation Haki Level 6, and Gear 5 require significant time, resources, and dedication. As you continue leveling your character, make sure to revisit each trainer so you can unlock every important ability and build one of the strongest characters in the game.
