Legacy Piece Red Mist Weapon Guide – How to Get It, Requirements, and Skills
The Red Mist is one of the newest and strongest weapons added to Legacy Piece. Inspired by the famous character from Lobotomy Corporation, this weapon offers powerful attacks and a unique passive ability that makes it a solid choice for both PvE and boss fights.
However, getting the Red Mist is far from easy. Unlike most weapons, nearly every requirement depends on defeating a difficult World Boss with random spawn chances and RNG-based drops. If you’re planning to unlock this weapon, here’s everything you need to know.
How to Get the Red Mist Weapon in Legacy Piece

To unlock the Red Mist weapon, head to the Ruined City Island and find the Red Mist NPC. After speaking with the NPC, you’ll discover that several materials and achievements are required before you can claim the weapon.
You’ll need the following:
- Crimson Fragments
- Crimson Cores
- SS Rank Red Mist Title
- 50,000,000 Gold
Once you have every requirement, return to the NPC to exchange them for the Red Mist weapon.
How to Get Crimson Fragments, Crimson Cores, and the Red Mist Title

The hardest part of the grind is collecting the required materials.
Both Crimson Fragments, Crimson Cores, and the SS Rank Red Mist Title are dropped by the Red Mist World Boss. Unlike normal bosses, this enemy doesn’t stay in one location and won’t always appear.
The Red Mist is part of the game’s World Boss rotation, meaning it only has around a one-in-three chance to be the active World Boss whenever one spawns. Even if you manage to find and defeat it, the required materials are not guaranteed to drop.
This means you’ll likely need to defeat the boss multiple times before collecting everything you need.
How to Farm Gold and Increase Your Rank
Fortunately, not every requirement is difficult.
To increase your rank, simply defeat bosses throughout the game. Boss farming naturally increases your rank over time, eventually allowing you to reach the required SS Rank.
For the 50 million Gold, many players recommend repeatedly farming or AFK grinding the final quest available in Ruined City. Since you’ll already spend plenty of time there farming materials, it’s one of the easiest ways to earn gold at the same time.
Best Way to Farm the Red Mist World Boss
Because of the boss’s random appearance, farming it alone can become frustrating.
Instead, consider using these strategies:
- Join friends in multiple private servers.
- Have everyone watch different servers for World Boss spawns.
- Join whichever server gets the Red Mist first.
- Server hop regularly if no boss appears.
- Watch the game’s Discord community for spawn announcements from other players.
Since World Bosses can eventually despawn, it’s important to defeat them as quickly as possible once they’re found.
Mimicry Chests and Extra Rewards
Besides the required materials, defeating the Red Mist World Boss also gives you a chance to receive Mimicry Chests.
These chests can contain:
- Crafting materials
- Cosmetic outfit pieces
- Other useful rewards
Sometimes developers also release redeem codes that grant free Mimicry Chests, making them worth claiming whenever new codes become available.
Red Mist Passive Ability Explained

One of the weapon’s strongest features is its enchantment passive called Undying Vow.
The passive changes based on your current HP.
If your health stays above 50%, the weapon is designed to apply additional burn-related effects during combat.
Once your HP falls below 50%, the passive shifts into a survival mode by greatly improving your health regeneration, allowing you to recover much faster during fights.
After unlocking higher mastery levels, players also gain access to an additional move tied to the passive, making the weapon even stronger during longer battles.
Although some of the passive effects aren’t immediately obvious during testing, the increased healing speed is very noticeable and can significantly improve survivability.
Is the Red Mist Worth Getting?
Despite the extremely difficult farming process, the Red Mist is easily one of the better weapons currently available in Legacy Piece. Its powerful moves, strong passive ability, and excellent combat performance make it worth using once unlocked.
The biggest downside is simply obtaining it. Between the random World Boss spawn, RNG material drops, and expensive gold requirement, this is one of the longest grinds in the game.
If you’re determined to unlock it, farming with friends, server hopping, and keeping track of World Boss spawns will save you a lot of time. While the grind is challenging, the Red Mist is a weapon that rewards players willing to put in the effort.
