Where to Find Apples in Unscathed Guide

Apples are a useful consumable in Unscathed, but finding them can be frustrating because they do not appear at fixed times. If you are looking for Apples for the Inkeeper quest or want to save them for their Luck bonus, knowing the main spawn area can save you a lot of time.

Where Do Apples Spawn?

Apples can usually be found in the center of the Unscathed map. Look around the concrete area between these three locations:

• Quest Board
• Blacksmith NPC
• Traveller NPC

When an Apple appears, simply walk over it to collect it. The item will automatically be added to your Items Inventory, which can be opened through the blue bag icon on the left side of your hotbar.

There does not appear to be a fixed Apple respawn timer. The spawn rate can be quite random, so you may find one Apple and then wait a long time before seeing another. Multiple Apples can also appear close together.

For example, one player may find an Apple and then wait around 40 minutes for another spawn, only for several Apples to appear within a few minutes. Because of this, it is better to check the spawn area regularly instead of waiting in one spot for a specific timer.

Why Do You Need Apples?

The main reason to collect Apples early on is the Inkeeper’s quest. When you first talk to the Inkeeper NPC, you can accept his quest and begin collecting Apples.

The quest requires you to collect:

• 10 Apples
• 200 Cash reward
• 150 EXP reward

Once you have collected 10 Apples, return to the Inkeeper to complete the quest. One useful part of this quest is that you do not permanently lose the Apples after completing it, so the items can still be useful afterward.

Because Apples can take a while to spawn, it is worth picking up every one you see even if you have not started the quest yet.

What Do Apples Do in Unscathed?

Apples are also useful as a consumable item. Eating one gives you a 10% Luck increase for 1 minute.

The actual amount of Luck you gain depends on your current Luck value. For example:

• 10 Luck becomes 11 Luck for 1 minute.
• 100 Luck becomes 110 Luck for 1 minute.
• Higher Luck values will provide a larger bonus.

This makes Apples more valuable as your character becomes stronger. If you already have a high Luck stat from your build, an additional 10% boost can help when you are trying to obtain rare Auras.

Should You Save Your Apples?

Yes, especially if you are already finished with the Inkeeper quest.

There is little reason to immediately consume every Apple you find. Since their spawn rate can be inconsistent, keeping a small stockpile can be useful for later progression.

Consider saving your Apples for situations where you are actively trying to improve your Aura collection or obtain rare drops. Using the Luck boost alongside your other Luck bonuses can give you a better chance of getting the rare Auras you are looking for.

For newer players, completing the Inkeeper quest should be the first priority. After that, start saving your extra Apples instead of using them randomly.
