Lineage Piece Haki Guide: How to Get Observation and Armament Haki!

Haki is one of the most useful systems to unlock in Lineage Piece once you start reaching the mid and late stages of the game. Following the Vasto Lorde and Ulquiorra update, players can currently obtain two Haki types: Observation Haki and Armament Haki, also known as Bosu Haki.

Each one gives a different advantage, so knowing how to unlock them can make your progression much easier. Observation Haki focuses on defense by giving you 10 dodges, while Armament Haki increases your damage by 25%. The requirements are different for each one, with Observation Haki requiring a questline and Armament Haki relying more heavily on grinding for a rare item.

All Haki Types in Lineage Piece

There are currently two Haki types available in Lineage Piece. Observation Haki is mainly useful for avoiding incoming attacks, while Armament Haki is better suited for players who want to increase their overall damage output.

• Observation Haki: Gives you 10 dodges. Requires Level 1500+, an Observation Haki Book, and 2.5 million Yen.
• Armament Haki (Bosu Haki): Provides a 25% damage boost. Requires a Haki Book and 1,250 Gems.

Both Haki types are worth getting if you are already progressing through higher-level content. Observation Haki can help you survive difficult fights, while Armament Haki makes defeating enemies and bosses faster.

How to Get Observation Haki in Lineage Piece

Getting Observation Haki takes more work because you need to complete several tasks before you can obtain the required book. The quest begins on Deeproot Jungle Island and involves defeating World Bosses before traveling around the map to light hidden torches.

You should make sure your character is at least Level 1500 before starting. You will also need 2.5 million Yen at the end of the quest, so it is better to have the money ready instead of finishing the entire quest and then having to farm for currency.

Step 1: Start the Observation Haki Quest

Travel to Deeproot Jungle Island and look for the wooden bridge located around the center of the island. The NPC responsible for the Observation Haki quest can be found at one end of the bridge. Talk to the NPC to begin the questline. However, the quest is locked until your character reaches Level 1500, so lower-level players will need to continue leveling before they can start.

Step 2: Defeat 40 World Bosses

The next requirement is to defeat 40 World Bosses. There is no specific boss that you need to farm for this part of the quest, meaning any World Boss across the map can count toward the total. This is one of the longer parts of the Observation Haki quest, especially if you are playing alone. Keep track of your progress as you farm bosses so you know when you have completed all 40 kills.

Step 3: Find and Light 5 Torches

After defeating 40 World Bosses, return to the Observation Haki NPC on Deeproot Jungle Island. You will then receive a new task that requires you to find five torches hidden around the Lineage Piece map.

The torches are spread across different islands, so be prepared to travel between locations. Lighting the fifth and final torch will automatically give you the Observation Haki Book. The book is an untradeable, one-time quest item, so you cannot simply trade with another player to skip this part of the quest.

The five torch locations are:

• Deeproot Jungle Island: Look at the tree trunk on the left side of the wooden bridge when coming from the spawn area.
• Frostborn Island: Check behind a street lamp near the Level 601–800 Quest NPC. The torch is located on a single tree.
• Legend’s Arena Island: Go behind the rightmost pillar and look near the tree close to the Saber NPC.
• Fossil Island: Find the tree directly beside the Muzan NPC near the Sung Jinwoo Boss area.
• Scorched Ruins Island: From the spawn point, head left and check the leftmost tree.

Step 4: Unlock Observation Haki

Once all five torches have been lit, you should have the Observation Haki Book in your inventory. Return to the Observation Haki NPC on Deeproot Jungle Island for the final step. Give the NPC the Observation Haki Book along with 2.5 million Yen.

After completing the exchange, Observation Haki will be unlocked. The reward gives you 10 dodges, making it especially useful against enemies and bosses with attacks that are difficult to avoid manually.

How to Get Armament Haki in Lineage Piece

Armament Haki, which is called Bosu Haki in Lineage Piece, has a much shorter unlocking process. The difficult part is getting the Haki Book because it has an extremely low drop rate.

Unlike Observation Haki, you do not need to complete a long questline or reach Level 1500. Instead, you need to obtain the rare book, collect 1,250 Gems, and then visit the correct NPC.

Step 1: Get the Bosu Haki Book

The Bosu Haki Book can drop from any mob NPC or boss in Lineage Piece. The listed drop chance is only 0.1%, making this the main grind for players trying to unlock Armament Haki.

There is no specific enemy that you need to farm. Regular mobs and bosses can all potentially drop the book, so you can farm enemies that fit your current level or combine the grind with other activities such as quests and boss farming.

Because the chance is so low, getting the book may take a while. Keep farming rather than focusing on one particular enemy unless that enemy also provides useful rewards for your character.

Step 2: Collect 1,250 Gems

After obtaining the Haki Book, you will need 1,250 Gems to unlock Bosu Haki. Gems can be collected through normal gameplay, including completing quests and defeating World Bosses.

Active Lineage Piece codes can also provide Gems, so check available codes before spending extra time farming. Redeeming every available reward can give you a useful boost toward the 1,250 Gem requirement.

Step 3: Talk to the Bosu Haki NPC

Once you have both the Bosu Haki Book and 1,250 Gems, travel to Frostborn Island. Find the Bosu Haki NPC and interact with them. Give the NPC the required Haki Book and 1,250 Gems. Once the exchange is completed, Armament Haki will be unlocked and your character will receive its 25% damage increase.

How to Reroll Armament Haki Color

Armament Haki also comes with a randomly selected color. The color does not change your damage, abilities, or other stats, so there is no gameplay advantage to getting one color over another.

If you simply want a different appearance, you can use Haki Color Rerolls. These can be obtained in two main ways, giving you a chance to change the color without affecting the actual power of your Armament Haki.

Haki Color Rerolls can be obtained from:

• Mob NPCs and bosses.
• Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythical Chests.

Since the color is cosmetic, there is no need to reroll immediately after unlocking Armament Haki. It can be better to save your rerolls and use them later if you are specifically trying to get a particular appearance.

Which Haki Should You Get First?

If you are already Level 1500 or higher, Observation Haki is a strong choice because its 10 dodges can provide a major defensive advantage during difficult fights. However, the quest takes considerably more time because of the 40 World Boss requirement and the five torch locations.

Armament Haki is easier in terms of the actual unlocking steps, but the 0.1% Haki Book drop rate can make it frustrating to obtain. Once you get the book, however, you only need 1,250 Gems and a visit to Frostborn Island.

For players focused on damage, Armament Haki is the more direct option because of its 25% damage boost. Players who struggle with survival may get more value from Observation Haki and its 10 dodges.

Unlocking both Haki types is a useful long-term goal in Lineage Piece. Observation Haki takes more time because you need to defeat 40 World Bosses and locate five hidden torches, but the reward gives you 10 dodges. Armament Haki has a simpler process, although its 0.1% Haki Book drop rate can make the farming much longer than expected.
