Frieren Lineage Piece Guide, How to Get & Unlock Mastery Move!

The new Frieren update in Lineage Piece adds a new weapon based on Frieren, but getting it takes a few steps. You first need to find the right island, farm a special item from Mimic Chests, and then use that item to summon the Frieren boss. Here is a simple step-by-step guide to getting Frieren and unlocking all of her skills.

Go to Elysian Island

Your first destination is Elysian Island. This is where you will find the NPC related to Frieren and her obtainment quest. Look around the island until you find the Frieren NPC. This NPC gives you information about the items needed to summon the boss. However, you cannot summon Frieren right away. You first need to collect Odd Tomes.

How to Get Odd Tome

The Odd Tome comes from Mimic Chests. Chests can appear on different islands, so you will need to travel around the map and check them. Regular chests will not give you the item. You are looking specifically for a Mimic Chest. The process is simple:

• Visit different islands.
• Look for spawned chests.
• Open the chests.
• If it is a Mimic, defeat it.
• Collect the Odd Tome.
• Repeat until you have enough Odd Tomes.

Chests appear roughly every 5 minutes, so you may need to wait or travel between islands while farming them.

Summon the Frieren Boss

Once you have an Odd Tome, return to Elysian Island. Use the Odd Tome to summon the Frieren boss. You then need to defeat her to get the items required for Frieren. The drops are not necessarily guaranteed every time, so you may need to summon and defeat the boss multiple times. Keep farming the boss until you have everything needed to obtain Frieren.

Get Frieren

After collecting the required drops from the Frieren boss, you can obtain the new Frieren weapon. There is one important thing to remember: getting Frieren does not unlock all of her moves immediately. At first, you mainly have the basic weapon and M1 attacks. You need to complete another quest line to unlock her abilities.

How to Unlock Frieren’s Skills

After getting Frieren, find the Siri Mastery NPC. This NPC gives you Frieren mastery quests. Each time you complete one of the objectives, another skill becomes available. The basic process is:

• Get Frieren.
• Find the Siri Mastery NPC.
• Accept the mastery quests.
• Complete each objective.
• Unlock Frieren’s skills one by one.
• Continue until all normal skills are unlocked.

Some quests require you to use Frieren’s abilities many times.

Use Simulated Game Mode

If a mastery quest asks you to use a skill repeatedly, Simulated Game Mode can make the process faster. Use cooldown reduction cards if you have them. Lower cooldowns mean you can use Frieren’s skills more often, which helps you finish these mastery quests faster. This is especially useful for objectives that require a large number of skill uses.

How to Unlock the Final R Move

The final R move requires a Black Hole Scroll. After unlocking the other Frieren abilities, get a Black Hole Scroll and use it to complete the final requirement. Once this is done, Frieren’s full moveset will be unlocked.

Getting Frieren in Lineage Piece is mainly about farming Odd Tomes, defeating the Frieren boss, and then completing her mastery quests. The hardest part can be finding enough Mimic Chests because regular chests will not give you the required Odd Tome. Once you have Frieren, do not forget about the mastery system. Completing the quests unlocks her full moveset, while the Black Hole Scroll is needed for the final R ability.
