Heavyweight Fishing has several Islands that you can visit as you progress through the game. Each Island has its own selection of Fish, Fishing Rods, NPCs, and sometimes Quests. However, you cannot simply catch fish anywhere from the beginning because later Islands require a certain amount of Power before you can fish there.

If you are trying to unlock new areas and improve your fishing equipment, knowing the Power requirement for each Island is important. This guide covers all current Islands in Heavyweight Fishing, including their requirements, Fish, Rods, and other useful information.

Beginning Isle

Beginning Isle is the first Island in Heavyweight Fishing and the place where new players start their journey. The tutorial takes place here, allowing you to learn the basic mechanics before moving on to other areas.

Heavyweight Fishing Island Requirements

The Islands become available as you increase your Power. Here is the progression order:

  • Sovereign Isle — 39 Power
  • Perch Isle — 48 Power
  • Frost Isle — 55 Power
  • Coconut Isle — 65 Power
  • Amber Isle — 75 Power

You should focus on improving your Power as you progress because reaching the required amount allows you to catch Fish in the next area. Moving to a new Island also gives you access to new Rods and Fish, which can help with further progression.

How to Locate Islands in Heavyweight Fishing

Finding an Island does not require you to manually search the entire ocean. Heavyweight Fishing has a Compass feature that can point you toward the location you want to visit. To find an Island:

  • Open the Compass icon on the left side of the screen.
  • Select the Island you want to travel to.
  • Look at the direction shown by the Compass.
  • Follow the arrow toward the selected Island.
  • Continue traveling until you reach the destination.

This is especially useful once you have several Islands unlocked because you do not need to remember the exact location of every area.

There are currently eight main Islands to explore in Heavyweight Fishing, starting with Beginning Isle and progressing through Bamboo Isle, Fallout Isle, Sovereign Isle, Perch Isle, Frost Isle, Coconut Isle, and Amber Isle. Each area has different Fish and Rods, while some Islands also contain NPCs and Quests.

The main thing to keep in mind is the Power requirement. As your Power increases, you can access more Islands and catch stronger Fish. If you are unsure where to go next, check your current Power and use the Compass to locate the next available Island.
