Because Ace Rooster has a chance of less than 1%, you may need to hatch many Trick Eggs before getting it.
The important part is getting your first Trick Egg, as this allows you to create a much easier farming route.
How to Get the Catalyst Hen
Before you can farm Trick Eggs, you need the Catalyst Hen. Catalyst Hen is another Secret Chicken, and it can be obtained from the Colossus Egg. Every time you hatch a Colossus Egg, there is a less than 1% chance of getting Catalyst Hen.
This means you may need to farm quite a few Colossus Eggs before getting one. Once you finally obtain Catalyst Hen, keep it safe and place it in your Coop or Incubator.
How to Get Trick Eggs
After obtaining Catalyst Hen, you can use it to start producing Trick Eggs.
Catalyst Hen produces an egg every 10 minutes. Its egg production has the following chances:
- 98% chance: Colossus Egg
- 2% chance: Trick Egg
The Trick Egg is therefore rare, but Catalyst Hen is currently the key chicken you need to start the Trick Egg route.
Keep Catalyst Hen active and continue collecting the eggs it produces until you get your first Trick Egg.
Use Trick Egg Chickens to Farm More Trick Eggs
Once you hatch your first Trick Egg, the process becomes easier.
Instead of continuing to rely only on Catalyst Hen, you can place one of the chickens obtained from the Trick Egg into your Coop or Incubator. These chickens can also help you produce additional Trick Eggs.
Even the Rare Domino Chick can produce Trick Eggs, giving you a 10% chance to get one.
This means the basic progression is:
- Farm Colossus Eggs.
- Hatch a Catalyst Hen.
- Place Catalyst Hen in your Coop or Incubator.
- Wait for it to produce a Trick Egg.
- Hatch the Trick Egg.
- Place one of your new Trick Egg chickens in the appropriate setup.
- Use that chicken to farm more Trick Eggs.
- Continue hatching Trick Eggs until you obtain Ace Rooster.

Some of these chickens can have better Trick Egg production chances than Catalyst Hen, making the process much more efficient. Do not immediately sell or fuse your first Trick Egg chickens. Keep them while you are building your Trick Egg farming route.
