Grand Blue Character Customization: Traits and Races
When you first enter Grand Blue, you will be taken through the character customization system. Two of the most important things to pay attention to are your Trait and Race. Both have different rarities, and getting a stronger option can help you build a better character as you progress.
You can reroll your Trait through the customization menu. Race rerolls work in a similar way, allowing you to try for a different race if you are not satisfied with your current one. If you already have a Trait that you like, make sure to use the Trait Storage feature when available so you do not accidentally lose a setup you want to keep.
If you are short on rerolls, check the currently available Grand Blue codes. Codes can provide Trait Rerolls and Race Rerolls, making them particularly useful for new players who are still deciding how they want to build their character.
How to Level Up Fast in Grand Blue

Get a Fruit From Codes
Some Grand Blue codes can provide a Fruit Chest. Opening one gives you a chance to obtain a random Fruit.
The result is random, so you may receive a weaker Fruit or get lucky with something much rarer. Fruits with stronger classifications can be much more valuable, so keep opening Fruit Chests when you get opportunities to obtain them.
For a new player, this is one of the easiest ways to get your first Fruit without having to spend your hard-earned Money.
Complete the Wizard Quest
Another beginner-friendly option is the one-time quest involving Almighty Calvin, the wizard in the starting area.
The basic process is:
- Find Almighty Calvin near the blacksmith area.
- Speak to him to start his quest.
- Obtain the required shovel.
- Follow the quest instructions.

How to Get the Last Love Sword
If you want one of the strongest swords currently mentioned in the game, look for the Last Love sword.
Unlike basic weapons that can be purchased from normal shops, Last Love can only be purchased from a Smuggler. Smugglers can be found in locations including the starting area and other parts of the world.
Because of this, do not assume every weapon is sold at the normal weapon shop. If you are looking for a specific weapon, explore the islands and check NPCs that may have special inventories.
Learn Fighting Styles From Trainers
Weapons are not the only way to improve your combat abilities. Grand Blue also has multiple Fighting Styles, each providing its own skills and playstyle.
Trainers can teach you certain skills that may not be available through normal weapon shops. As you explore the game, talk to NPCs that offer training and check which abilities they can teach.

Take Part in World Bosses
