All NPC and Class NPC in The Veil Guide, Locations & What They Do
NPCs play an important role in The Veil, especially when you want to unlock a new class. Instead of choosing a class directly from a menu, you need to find the correct NPC and meet the requirements for that class.
There are currently seven class NPCs connected to the seven available classes. Each NPC is tied to one specific class, and finding the right character is the first step toward unlocking it.
Some NPCs are easy to find, while others are located in specific areas. One NPC also has a special spawn condition, so you cannot simply visit the location at any time. In this guide, we will cover all Class NPCs in The Veil, including their names, locations, and the class they are associated with.
The Veil Class NPC List
Here is a quick list of all seven class NPCs currently available in The Veil:
- Asmodeus — Duskwing
- Briar — Florist
- Cyrus — Sky Sentinel
- Dash — Marauder
- Hiveling Corpse — Hive Disciple
- Elian — Crusader
- Vorax — Gladiator
Each NPC has a different purpose, but their main role is to help players unlock their associated class.

Asmodeus – Duskwing NPC
- Class: Duskwing
- NPC: Asmodeus
- Location: The Lone Pillar
- Special Condition: Only spawns at night
Asmodeus is the NPC you need to find if you want to unlock the Duskwing class. He can be found at The Lone Pillar, but there is an important detail to remember: Asmodeus only appears during nighttime.
This means you should not assume that something is wrong if you reach The Lone Pillar and cannot find him during the day. Wait until nighttime and return to the area to look for him.
Duskwing is a shadow-based class focused on mobility, damage boosts, and defensive abilities. If you enjoy moving quickly around enemies and using surprise attacks, this is the NPC you should look for.
Briar – Florist NPC
- Class: Florist
- NPC: Briar
- Location: The Glade’s Garden
Briar is the class NPC responsible for the Florist class. You can find Briar inside The Glade’s Garden, making this NPC fairly straightforward to identify once you reach the area.
Florist is built around plants and poison effects. Its abilities can create poisonous areas, attack enemies with vines, and summon a flower that damages nearby enemies while providing healing.
If you enjoy damage-over-time effects and controlling an area during combat, visiting Briar is a good choice.
Cyrus – Sky Sentinel NPC
- Class: Sky Sentinel
- NPC: Cyrus
- Location: The Shimmer
Cyrus is the NPC connected to the Sky Sentinel class. You can find him at The Shimmer.
Sky Sentinel has a different playstyle compared with many of the other classes because it uses Ice Wisps to assist in battle. The class also has ice-based attacks and abilities that can strengthen its summons.
Players who enjoy having additional allies during combat may want to consider Sky Sentinel. Once you find Cyrus and meet the class requirements, you can unlock this class.
Dash – Marauder NPC
- Class: Marauder
- NPC: Dash
- Location: Hidden Echo Village
Dash is the NPC you need to find for the Marauder class. He can be found in Hidden Echo Village.
Marauder is designed around speed and fast movement. Its abilities can increase movement speed and swing speed while also giving you ways to quickly move toward or behind an opponent.
Flashstep and Vanishing Gambits make Marauder particularly interesting for players who like fast-paced combat. If movement is one of the most important parts of your playstyle, Dash is the NPC to visit.
Hiveling Corpse – Hive Disciple NPC
- Class: Hive Disciple
- NPC: Hiveling Corpse
- Location: The Cyst
The unusual-looking Hiveling Corpse is the class NPC for Hive Disciple. This NPC can be found in The Cyst.
Hive Disciple focuses on rot-based attacks. Instead of relying only on normal attacks, the class can apply rot effects and deal percentage-based damage to enemies.
Its abilities also include homing projectiles and a movement skill that leaves damaging puddles behind. This makes the class suitable for players who enjoy status effects and damage that can continue affecting enemies during a fight.
Elian – Crusader NPC
- Class: Crusader
- NPC: Elian
- Location: The Glade’s Church
Elian is the NPC connected to the Crusader class. You can find him at The Glade’s Church.
Crusader is one of the more defensive class options because it has access to healing and mobility. Its abilities use light-based attacks while also giving the player ways to recover health and reposition.
The class can heal a portion of your health, teleport using Holy Step, and call down multiple beams of light to damage nearby enemies.
If you prefer a class with healing and useful utility rather than relying entirely on raw damage, Elian is worth finding.
Vorax – Gladiator NPC
- Class: Gladiator
- NPC: Vorax
- Location: Hidden Echo Village
Vorax is the NPC responsible for unlocking the Gladiator class. He can be found in Hidden Echo Village, the same general location where you can also find Dash.
Gladiator is focused on direct melee combat and increased attack damage. Its Rage Aura provides a significant damage boost, while Unbound Ascent allows you to launch yourself toward an enemy and kick them into the air.
When Rage is active, the kick becomes even stronger and gains a fire effect. For players who want a straightforward melee class with strong damage, Vorax is one of the most important class NPCs to find.
Where to Find All Class NPCs

For a quick reference, here are all the current class NPC locations:
- Asmodeus: The Lone Pillar — Duskwing
- Briar: The Glade’s Garden — Florist
- Cyrus: The Shimmer — Sky Sentinel
- Dash: Hidden Echo Village — Marauder
- Hiveling Corpse: The Cyst — Hive Disciple
- Elian: The Glade’s Church — Crusader
- Vorax: Hidden Echo Village — Gladiator
Remember that Asmodeus only appears at night, so his location is the only one with a special time requirement.
How Class NPCs Work in The Veil
Class NPCs are not just regular characters that give you random quests. Each one is linked to a specific class. When you find the NPC, you can check the requirements needed to unlock their class.
Before traveling to an NPC, it is a good idea to make sure you already have the required kills, offerings, and Silver. Otherwise, you may reach the correct location but still be unable to unlock the class.
The requirements also differ between classes. Some classes require kills, while others require offerings. Every class listed in this guide requires 500 Silver.
Tips for Finding Class NPCs
If you are planning to unlock several classes, keep track of the areas you have already visited. Hidden Echo Village, for example, contains two different class NPCs, so you can save some travel time by checking both Dash and Vorax during the same trip. For Asmodeus, always consider the time of day before searching. If it is daytime, simply return later when night begins.
It is also worth unlocking fast travel points as you explore the world. Having access to more travel options can make class hunting much less time-consuming, especially when you want to visit NPCs in different parts of the map.
That covers all of the current Class NPCs in The Veil, including where to find them and which class each NPC unlocks. There are seven class NPCs to look for: Asmodeus for Duskwing, Briar for Florist, Cyrus for Sky Sentinel, Dash for Marauder, Hiveling Corpse for Hive Disciple, Elian for Crusader, and Vorax for Gladiator. Before searching for an NPC, check the requirements for the class you want and make sure you have enough Silver. With the right preparation, you can find the NPC, meet the requirements, and start using a new class without wasting time traveling back and forth.
