Becoming a Demon in Slayers 2 takes more than simply finding Muzan and accepting his offer. You first need to lower your reputation, meet Muzan at the correct time and location, complete his quests, and obtain his blood before you can transform.

After becoming a Demon, you can continue your progression by taking Demon quests and unlocking an Evil Art. These abilities work as the Demon equivalent of Breathing Techniques, giving you a new set of skills to build around.

Lower Your Reputation to -500

The first requirement is getting your reputation low enough. You need to reach around -500 reputation before Muzan will contact you and begin the Demon progression.

There are two main ways to lower your reputation:

  • Defeat Slayer NPCs in the Snow Zone.
  • Defeat civilians around the map.

The Snow Zone can be found by going to the Bear Area and heading toward the snowy section of the map. You should find Slayer NPCs that you can fight there. Keep defeating them and checking your reputation until you reach roughly -500.

If the Slayers are too difficult for your current character, fighting civilians is another option. It may take longer depending on where you find them, but the method still works for lowering your reputation.

Find Muzan at Mistfall Harbor

Once your reputation reaches the required level, you should receive a message from Muzan telling you to meet him at night. This means you can start looking for his location.

Muzan can be found at Mistfall Harbor. Return to the Bear Area and use the compass at the top of the screen to travel north. Follow the route toward the harbor and make sure you arrive at night.

When you find Muzan, talk to him and accept his offer to become a Demon. He will give you a Bell, which is an important item for the rest of the process.

Enter Muzan’s Domain

The Bell allows you to teleport to Muzan’s Domain. Use it after accepting Muzan’s offer and wait for your character to arrive at the new area.

Once you’re inside, speak with Muzan again. He will give you the quests that you need to complete before you can obtain Muzan’s Blood and officially become a Demon.

There are two important objectives you need to complete, starting with the Doctor Higoshima quest.

Complete the Doctor Higoshima Quest

For the first quest, you need to find Doctor Higoshima. Follow the quest marker until you reach his location.

Once you find the doctor, capture him and take him to the delivery location shown by the quest. This sounds simple, but there is an important problem you need to prepare for.

After capturing Doctor Higoshima, Slayers will begin spawning and chasing you. They will continue attacking you while you’re trying to reach the delivery point.

The best strategy is to avoid fighting them whenever possible. Keep moving toward the marked destination and don’t waste time trying to defeat every Slayer that follows you.

Stopping to fight gives the enemies more opportunities to damage you and can make the quest take much longer. As long as you can survive the trip, focus on reaching the delivery location.

Once you successfully deliver Doctor Higoshima, the first quest will be completed.

Collect 9 Spider Lilies

The second part of Muzan’s quest requires you to collect 9 Spider Lilies. These flowers can appear in different locations around the map, so you may find some naturally while exploring.

However, one useful location for farming them is the Water Training Area. Both red and blue Spider Lilies can spawn around this area, making it a good place to check when you’re trying to complete the quest.

Keep looking around the area and collect every Spider Lily you find. You can check your quest progress along the way to see how many more flowers you need.

Server Hop for Spider Lilies

Waiting for Spider Lilies to respawn in the same server can take quite a while. Because of this, server hopping is a much better way to farm the required flowers.

After collecting the available Spider Lilies in one server, leave and join another server. Return to the Water Training Area and check the same spots again.

Repeat this process until you have collected all 9 Spider Lilies. You may need to visit several servers, but this is generally more efficient than standing in one location waiting for the flowers to respawn.

Drink Muzan’s Blood

After completing both of Muzan’s quests, you will receive Muzan’s Blood. This is the item that allows your character to officially transform into a Demon.

Use the item from your inventory to drink Muzan’s Blood. Once you complete the transformation, you’ll finally have access to the Demon progression system.

After becoming a Demon, use your Bell again to return to Muzan’s Domain. There are now several things you should focus on to continue improving your character.

Complete Muzan’s Demon Quests

Once you’re a Demon, Muzan will offer additional quests that require you to defeat different trainees. These quests provide Experience and Cash, making them useful for leveling your new Demon character.

Always make sure you accept the appropriate quest before fighting the target. If you defeat the trainee without having the matching quest active, you may miss out on the additional quest rewards.

These quests are also a good way to continue progressing after your transformation, especially while you’re working toward unlocking your Evil Art.

How to Get an Evil Art

Evil Arts are essentially the Demon version of Breathing Techniques. They give your character a collection of abilities designed specifically for Demon builds.

After becoming a Demon, you can roll for an Evil Art. However, obtaining the art is only the beginning because the ability comes with its own questline that you need to complete before you can fully use it.

Two Evil Arts that are worth considering are Arrow Art and Blood Art.

Arrow Art

Arrow Art is a strong option for new Demon players because it doesn’t require as much preparation as some other choices.

If you’re just starting your Demon progression and happen to roll Arrow Art, you can use it as a solid starting point while you level your character and become familiar with the Demon gameplay system.

It’s a good choice if you want an Evil Art that you can start progressing with without needing to build around another specific weapon first.

Blood Art and the Sickles Weapon

Blood Art is another option, but there is an important requirement to remember. You need the Sickles weapon to use Blood Art properly.

The Sickles can be obtained from a boss located inside the cave underneath the Bear Area. Head back toward the Bears, follow the route down into the cave, and look for the boss inside.

You’ll need to farm this boss for the weapon, so keep that requirement in mind before deciding to build around Blood Art.

Complete the Evil Art Quest

When you roll an Evil Art, you receive it as an item. Use that item to begin its associated questline.

The process should feel familiar if you’ve already unlocked a Breathing Technique. You’ll have to complete several smaller objectives and training tasks before the Evil Art is fully obtained.

Follow each objective one at a time and continue completing the required tasks until the entire questline is finished. Once you complete it, you’ll officially unlock the Evil Art and can start working on its mastery.

Level Up Your Evil Art

Unlocking an Evil Art isn’t the end of the progression. Like Breathing Techniques, Evil Arts have their own mastery system and skill tree.

As you gain mastery, you’ll be able to unlock additional abilities from the skill tree. Make sure you regularly check the tree to see which skills are available and what requirements you need to meet next.

Continue using your Evil Art while farming Experience and Cash. The more you progress its mastery, the more abilities you can unlock and the stronger your Demon build becomes.

Becoming a Demon in Slayers 2 requires several steps, but the process becomes much easier once you know where to go and what each quest requires. Start by lowering your reputation to around -500, then wait for Muzan’s message and meet him at Mistfall Harbor during the night.

After accepting his offer, use the Bell to enter Muzan’s Domain and complete the Doctor Higoshima and Spider Lily quests. Once you receive Muzan’s Blood, drink it to transform into a Demon and return to the Domain to begin your new progression.

From there, complete Muzan’s Demon quests and roll for an Evil Art. Arrow Art is a good starting option, while Blood Art is worth considering if you’re prepared to farm the Sickles weapon. Finally, complete the Evil Art questline and increase its mastery to unlock more skills.
