Wrath Coins are a special event currency introduced during the Wrathful Assault Update in Anime Vanguards. Unlike the regular currencies used throughout the game, these coins are mainly connected to the limited-time Wrath Event and its exclusive shop.
If you want to collect event items such as Corruption Crystal, Phoenix Shard, Trait Rerolls, or the various equipment pieces, you will need to farm Wrath Coins. Fortunately, the process is fairly simple once you understand how the event works.

How to Get Wrath Coins in Anime Vanguards
The main way to earn Wrath Coins is by completing the Wrath Event. This is a 15-wave challenge located at Shining Castle, where you fight through multiple waves of enemies before receiving your event rewards.
Before entering the match, you will need to select one of the Seven Sins. Each Sin provides a different effect that can change how your units perform during the battle. Picking a modifier that works well with your team can make the event much easier to complete. After finishing the event, you will receive Wrath Coins based on the difficulty you played.
- Normal Mode: 100 Wrath Coins
- Hard Mode: 200 Wrath Coins
You also receive 3x Battle Pass XP for completing a Wrath Event run.
How to Farm Wrath Coins Quickly
If your main goal is to collect as many Wrath Coins as possible, Hard Mode is the better option. It gives 200 coins per completion, which is twice the amount provided by Normal Mode.
However, you should make sure your team can clear Hard Mode consistently before focusing on farming it. A fast and reliable team will give you much better results than repeatedly struggling through a difficult run.
One useful strategy is to select Envy and build your team around a powerful damage unit. Envy reduces the damage of your strongest non-farm unit by 30%, then gives the other non-farm units the same damage value.
A high-damage unit such as Gilgamesh or Alocard with Monarch can therefore be used as the foundation of the setup. You can pair it with a fast attacker such as Reimu, which attacks every 0.9 seconds and has full AOE.
For your economy, units such as Tempest Pirate or Speed Wagon can help provide the money needed to build and upgrade your team. Bounty Hunter can also be useful for dealing with the Original Boss’s mind-control mechanic.
With a strong setup, Hard Mode can be completed very quickly, making it a good method for farming Wrath Coins.
What Can You Buy With Wrath Coins?
Once you have collected enough Wrath Coins, you can spend them in the exclusive Wrath Event Shop. The shop contains several event items, including equipment and upgrade materials. The available rewards include:
- Black Smith’s Hammer: 1,000 Wrath Coins
- Holy Sword: 1,000 Wrath Coins
- Iron Helmet: 1,000 Wrath Coins
- Scrap Bluntsword: 1,000 Wrath Coins
- Witch’s Staff: 1,000 Wrath Coins
- Corruption Crystal: 10 Wrath Coins
- Elemental Shard: 10 Wrath Coins
- Memoria Shards: 10 Wrath Coins
- Phoenix Shard: 10 Wrath Coins
- Trait Rerolls: 10 Wrath Coins
The equipment items require 1,000 coins each, while the various shards and Trait Rerolls only cost 10 coins.
How Many Wrath Coins Do You Need?
The amount you need depends on what you want to purchase. If you are targeting one of the 1,000-coin equipment items, you will need to complete several event runs before you can afford it.
At the Normal difficulty, you receive 100 Wrath Coins per run, meaning you need 10 successful runs to reach 1,000 coins.
Hard Mode cuts that number in half because each successful run provides 200 Wrath Coins. This means five Hard Mode completions are enough to reach 1,000 coins.
For this reason, players who can reliably clear Hard Mode should prioritize it when farming the event currency.
Wrath Coins are mainly obtained by completing the Wrath Event in Anime Vanguards. Normal Mode gives 100 coins, while Hard Mode rewards 200 coins, making the harder difficulty the most efficient option for players with a strong enough team.
