Getting Naruto takes several steps, including unlocking the Jinchuriki Race, completing the Realm questline, crafting the Six Paths Key, and clearing the new dungeon. Here is the full process from start to finish.
How to Get the Jinchuriki Race
The first major requirement for Naruto is the Jinchuriki Race. The questline begins with Killer Bee, who can be found toward the back of Deep Root Jungle. Talk to Killer Bee to start the race quests. Most of the objectives are relatively simple, but some require specific activities or enemies, so it is worth preparing your character before starting.
The Jinchuriki Race questline requires you to:
- Deal damage using Combat.
- Move boulders to their designated locations.
- Defeat 50 mobs with Chakra Mutation.
- Meditate at the designated location.
- Defeat your own character at the Waterfall area.
For the Combat damage objective, a melee-focused build is recommended. You can use modes such as Simulated C or Tower Mode to deal the required damage more efficiently. You can also improve your damage through Enchants and Modifiers if your current melee setup is not strong enough.
How to Complete the Boulder Quest
The next Jinchuriki quest requires you to pick up boulders and carry them to specific checkpoints. The boulders can be found on Jungle Island. After picking one up, carry it toward the yellow checkpoint locations shown around the area. Once the boulder objective is completed, continue to the next quest involving Chakra Mutation.
How to Complete the Chakra Mutation Quest
You need to defeat 50 mobs while using Chakra Mutation. This can be completed by farming enemies that spawn with the required mutation. Chakra is also useful later in the Naruto progression because it is one of the materials needed to craft the Six Paths Key. Because of this, it is a good idea to collect additional Chakra instead of stopping immediately after completing the race requirement.
How to Complete the Meditation Quest
For the meditation objective, head to the designated red carpet and interact with it to begin meditating. Once meditation starts, avoid moving your character or clicking around. Doing so will interrupt the meditation and force you to start again.
After finishing the meditation, interact with the nearby NPC to continue the questline.
Defeat Yourself at the Waterfall
The next objective takes you to the waterfall area, where you have to fight a version of yourself. This encounter is not particularly difficult if your character already has decent damage and survivability. Defeat the opponent to complete this part of the Jinchuriki progression.
After finishing the questline, you will receive a Darkness Fragment. This item can then be used to obtain the Jinchuriki Race.
How to Get the Six Paths Key
Once the Jinchuriki Race is handled, the next major step is collecting the materials required for Naruto. You need a Six Paths Key, which can be obtained through the new Realm content on Elysian Island. However, you cannot immediately craft the key because the Realm questline must be completed first.
The Realm quests mainly involve farming bosses and completing straightforward objectives. The final quest is different because it requires you to locate Flame Chaser NPCs around the game’s islands.
Where to Find the Flame Chaser NPCs
There are 11 Flame Chaser NPCs that need to be found for the final Realm quest. They are spread across the map, with several islands containing one NPC. There are also two Flame Chaser NPCs in Shinjuku. However, Lineage Island and Fossil Island do not have any Flame Chaser NPCs.
After finding each Flame Chaser and interacting with them, enemies will spawn nearby. You need to defeat the spawned souls before moving on to the next Flame Chaser. Once all 11 Flame Chasers have been completed, you can continue with the remaining Realm requirements.
How to Craft the Six Paths Key
After finishing the Realm questline, you need to farm Elysian Island mobs for Realm Signals. You will also need Chakra to craft the Six Paths Key. Chakra can be obtained from mobs and bosses that have a mutation. This means you can continue farming mutated enemies while gathering the resources required for the key.
Once you have enough Realm Signals and Chakra, use the materials to craft the Six Paths Key. This key gives you access to the dungeon where the materials for Naruto can be obtained.
How to Complete the Six Paths Dungeon
The Six Paths Dungeon consists of three main phases. Each stage has a different objective, so having a character with strong area damage and good range can make the run much easier. The dungeon progression is:
- Defeat White Zetsu.
- Protect the Stone for five waves.
- Defeat Vor and Naruto.
- Defeat Six Paths Naruto.
The Stone defense section is particularly important because you need to survive five waves of enemies. Characters with strong range and AOE abilities are recommended for this section. Vastalord is one option that works well for the defense phase, but other characters with good AOE and range can also handle the waves.
After completing the first two phases, you will eventually reach the final encounter against Six Paths Naruto. Defeating him gives you the materials required to unlock Naruto.
How to Unlock Naruto in Lineage Piece
After collecting all of the required drops from the Six Paths Dungeon, return to the Naruto-related NPC and use the materials to unlock the character.
Naruto starts with two base moves, but his full potential comes from completing his mastery progression.
If you want to maximize the character, you should continue farming the required objectives instead of stopping after obtaining the base version.
How to Unlock Naruto’s Mastery
Naruto’s mastery quest can be started by talking to the Mastery NPC. The first objective requires you to deal damage using Naruto. After that, you need to complete several additional farming requirements. These include enemies from the Six Paths Dungeon as well as mutated mobs and bosses. The Naruto mastery requirements are:
- Deal damage using Naruto.
- Defeat White Zetsu.
- Defeat 200 mobs with Chakra Mutation.
- Defeat 100 bosses with Chakra Mutation.
- Collect all nine Tailed Beast Orbs.
White Zetsu can be found inside the Six Paths Dungeon, so you can work on this objective while continuing your dungeon runs.
For the Chakra Mutation requirements, an efficient farming setup can save a lot of time. An AFK-friendly character such as Deku can be useful for repeatedly farming enemies and bosses with the required mutation.
How to Get All Nine Tailed Beast Orbs
The final major part of Naruto’s mastery requires collecting nine Tailed Beast Orbs. Each orb comes from a different boss. Here are all nine orb sources:
- One-Tailed Beast Orb: Shadow Boss
- Two-Tailed Beast Orb: Shadow Monarch Boss
- Three-Tailed Beast Orb: Miabi Boss
- Four-Tailed Beast Orb: Yisang Boss
