The Nightfall armor set is one of the more difficult equipment collections to complete in Slayers 2 because its schematics are locked behind several progression requirements. You can’t simply find each armor piece individually, as the game requires you to finish the Nightfall weapon schematic collection before the complete armor set becomes available. Complete the Nightfall Weapon Schematics First
Before going after the armor schematics, you need to complete every Nightfall weapon schematic. The armor collection is tied to this progression, meaning you cannot obtain the complete Nightfall armor set without first finishing the required weapon schematics.
Make sure you’ve already collected all nine Nightfall weapon schematics before moving on to the final armor requirements. Once that collection is complete, you can start working on the remaining armor pieces. This is an important requirement to remember because reaching the NPCs or collecting the necessary materials early won’t allow you to bypass the weapon schematic requirement.
How to Get the Nightfall Mask
The Nightfall Mask is one of the simpler pieces to obtain compared with the other armor schematics. Start by teleporting to Mistfall Harbor.
From Mistfall Harbor, travel toward the Rengoku area. Instead of taking the longer route across the bridge, you can use the water as a shortcut and swim across to reach the other side more quickly.
Continue traveling through the Rengoku area until you reach the Dungeon area. Once you’re there, look for the tower that you need to climb.
You can climb the tower normally, but mobility abilities can make this section considerably faster. If your character has movement skills that allow you to skip sections of the climb, use them to reach the top more efficiently.
At the top of the tower, you’ll find the Nightfall Mask. Interact with it to obtain the schematic and complete this part of the Nightfall armor collection.
How to Get the Lost Cape
The Nightfall Cape requires a separate item called the Lost Cape. There are two ways to obtain the Lost Cape, with fishing being one of the available methods.
However, you can also obtain it by defeating a specific boss repeatedly. This can be a more convenient option if you don’t want to rely on fishing.
To use the boss method, travel to Final Selection. From the Final Selection spawn point, head northwest and follow the road toward the nearby lake.
Once you reach the lake, dive underwater. You’ll find the boss in the underwater area.
Defeat the boss repeatedly until it drops the Lost Cape. The drop isn’t guaranteed, so you may need to fight the boss several times before obtaining it.
After getting the Lost Cape, return to the main world and teleport to the Hidden Mist Shrine.
Turn the Lost Cape Into the Nightfall Cape Schematic
From the Hidden Mist Shrine, travel toward the Stone Sanctuary. Continue forward until you reach the appropriate area, then drop down to the lower section.
Look for the NPC waiting below. This character is responsible for converting the Lost Cape into the Nightfall Cape schematic.
Interact with the NPC and hand over your Lost Cape. After completing the exchange, you’ll receive the Nightfall Cape schematic.
This is why you should keep the Lost Cape once you obtain it. Don’t treat it like a regular piece of equipment that can be discarded, because it’s needed for the Nightfall armor progression.
Fastest Way to Farm the Lost Cape
If your goal is to complete the Nightfall set as quickly as possible, the underwater boss is a useful option because you can repeatedly defeat it instead of waiting for a fishing drop.
You can also use the game’s race-reset feature to return to Final Selection if you need to access the area more conveniently. This can save travel time during the Lost Cape farming process.
If you don’t want to spend Robux on resetting your race, use the available RS option and select the race reset feature. After resetting, you can return to Final Selection and head toward the underwater boss.
The important part is simply to keep farming the boss until the Lost Cape drops.
How to Get the Nightfall Top and Bottom
The Nightfall Top and Nightfall Bottom become available after you’ve completed the required Nightfall schematic collection, including the weapon schematics and Nightfall Cape schematic.
Once you’ve reached that point, teleport to the Hidden Mist Village Shrine.
From the shrine, travel down toward the village and look for the Blacksmith NPC. This NPC is responsible for providing the final Nightfall armor schematics.
Speak with the Blacksmith and look through the available dialogue options. Select the option related to Set Drawings, then choose the Nightfall option.
After completing the interaction, you’ll receive the Nightfall Top schematic and Nightfall Bottom schematic.
This means you don’t need to separately search the world for both pieces. Their schematics become accessible through the Blacksmith after you’ve fulfilled the necessary Nightfall progression.
Nightfall Armor Schematic Requirements
Before attempting to finish the entire collection, make sure you’ve completed the major requirements:
- Complete all required Nightfall weapon schematics.
- Obtain the Lost Cape.
- Exchange the Lost Cape for the Nightfall Cape schematic.
- Obtain the Nightfall Mask schematic.
- Visit the Blacksmith after completing the required schematic progression.
- Obtain the Nightfall Top schematic.
- Obtain the Nightfall Bottom schematic.
Once you’ve collected all of the schematics, you’ll finally be able to move on to crafting the Nightfall armor pieces.
How to Craft the Nightfall Armor
Getting the schematics doesn’t automatically give you the completed Nightfall armor. The schematics unlock the ability to craft the equipment, but you’ll still need to gather the required materials.
The crafting requirements can be quite demanding, so expect to spend some time farming the necessary resources. If you’re working toward the complete set, it’s a good idea to collect materials while completing the schematic requirements rather than waiting until the very end.
Once you’ve gathered everything required, use the appropriate crafting system to create each Nightfall armor piece.
