Legacy Piece Queen of Hatred Guide

Queen of Hatred has finally arrived in Legacy Piece, bringing a new character, questline, weapon, passive mechanic, and ultimate to the game. Getting her is not as simple as buying an ability immediately, because you first need to repair a strange phone, complete several quests, build your bond with the Magical Girl, and collect the required items.

The process has several stages, but you can follow them in order without needing to guess what comes next. Here is the complete Queen of Hatred requirements and how to unlock her in Legacy Piece.

Queen of Hatred Requirements

Before starting the quest, it helps to know everything you need to collect and complete. The requirements are spread across multiple objectives, so you will need to farm materials, complete Bounty quests, catch a specific fish, craft two items, visit a scenery location, and clear a dungeon. Here is the full requirement list:

• Go to Ruin City Island.
• Find the Technician NPC.
• Find the Strange Phone on A City Island.
• Collect 100 Parts.
• Return to the Technician and repair the phone.
• Equip the Strange Phone.
• Communicate with the Magical Girl through the phone.
• Complete Legendary and Mythic Bounty quests.
• Catch a Heart Glow Butterfly Fish.
• Craft the Pink Ribbon Charm.
• Craft the Heart Pendant.
• Deliver the crafted items to the Magical Girl.
• Travel with her to a scenery location and capture a Memory.
• Enter the dungeon through the Technician NPC.
• Farm the dungeon until you obtain all of the required Queen of Hatred items.
• Return to the Technician.
• Purchase the Queen of Hatred ability.

Step 1: Find the Technician

Your first destination is Ruin City Island. Once you arrive, look around the right side of the island for the Technician NPC.

The Technician is important because this NPC handles the Strange Phone and later gives you access to the dungeon needed for the final part of the Queen of Hatred questline.

Talk to the Technician before starting the farming process so you know what the quest requires.

Step 2: Find the Strange Phone

After locating the Technician, your next objective is to find the Strange Phone. Travel to A City Island and look toward the left side of the spawn area.

The Strange Phone is located there, but you cannot properly use it immediately. You first need to collect Parts and bring them back to the Technician so the phone can be repaired.

Step 3: Collect 100 Parts

The first major farming requirement is simple: collect 100 Parts.

Parts can be obtained from mobs throughout the game, so you do not need to stay in one specific area for this objective. You can farm enemies normally or use an AFK farming method if you have one available.

Once you have collected 100 Parts, return to the Technician on Ruin City Island. Talk to the NPC and use the Parts to repair the Strange Phone. After the repair is complete, the Strange Phone will be placed into your inventory.

Equip the phone to continue the Queen of Hatred questline.

Step 4: Complete the Magical Girl Quests

Once you equip the Strange Phone, you will begin interacting with the Magical Girl. This is where the main Queen of Hatred relationship questline begins.

You will receive messages from her and need to complete different tasks to increase your bond. The quests are divided into several objectives, so complete each one in order before moving to the next stage. The Magical Girl quest requirements can be grouped into three main parts:

• Complete Bounty quests.
• Find a special fish and craft two items.
• Create a Memory with the Magical Girl.

Step 5: Complete Legendary and Mythic Bounties

The first Magical Girl quest requires you to complete Bounty quests. Open the Quests menu and enter the Bounty section.

You need to clear both Legendary and Mythic Bounty quests. Make sure you complete the required difficulties rather than only farming lower-level Bounties.

After finishing the required Bounties, the questline will move to the next objective.

Step 6: Get the Heart Glow Butterfly Fish

The next requirement involves fishing. You need to obtain a Heart Glow Butterfly Fish.

The fish has around a 10% chance of appearing, so this part can take some time depending on your luck. The chance is also better during the Whale event, making that a useful time to focus on catching it.

Once you finally obtain the Heart Glow Butterfly Fish, you can move on to the crafting requirement.

Step 7: Craft the Pink Ribbon Charm and Heart Pendant

Take the required fish and head to Legacy Island. Find the Professional Fisherman NPC because this NPC handles the crafting portion of the quest.

You need to craft two items:

• Pink Ribbon Charm
• Heart Pendant

After both items have been crafted, the related quest objective will be completed automatically.

You then need to meet the Magical Girl and deliver the crafted items to her.

Step 8: Create a Memory With the Magical Girl

The next objective requires you to spend some time with the Magical Girl and create a Memory.

You can choose one of three islands for this part of the quest. Travel to your chosen island and the Magical Girl will follow you there.

After arriving, look for the scenery area marked with pink text. Go to the marked location and interact with the area to capture the Memory.

Once the Memory has been captured, you will have completed the second-to-last stage of the Queen of Hatred questline.

Step 9: Farm the Queen of Hatred Dungeon

The final major requirement is collecting the items requested by the Magical Girl. To start this part, return to the Technician NPC on Ruin City Island.

Talk to the Technician and enter the dungeon. You will need to repeatedly clear this dungeon because the required items are obtained through dungeon farming.

Keep running the dungeon until you have collected everything needed for the Queen of Hatred requirements. There is no need to stop after a single run if you have not received all the required materials.

A simple farming loop is:

• Return to the Technician.
• Enter the dungeon.
• Clear the dungeon.
• Collect the required drops.
• Check your requirements.
• Repeat the dungeon if you are still missing items.
• Continue until everything is collected.

Step 10: Buy Queen of Hatred

Once you have completed every requirement and collected all of the necessary dungeon items, return to the Technician one final time.

Speak with the NPC and you should now have the option to purchase the Queen of Hatred ability. Select the purchase option to unlock her.

Queen of Hatred Passive

After unlocking Queen of Hatred, you get access to a unique passive mechanic based around Love and Hate. Using your skills and taking damage will increase the corresponding counter during combat.

The mechanic becomes more interesting once the counters build up. Hate can eventually overpower your character and take control, causing your character to automatically attack nearby enemies.

An indicator appears on the screen to show the current state of the mechanic, making it easier to understand when the passive is becoming active.

Queen of Hatred Ultimate

When both Love and Hate reach their required levels, you can use the B move. This gives the ability another powerful attack that is connected to the character’s unique mechanic.

The ultimate is another major part of Queen of Hatred’s kit and gives the ability a distinct feel compared with the other weapons and characters available in Legacy Piece.

You can also enhance the weapon with enchants and gems to increase its overall performance. A strong enchant setup can make the ability much more effective when combined with the Love and Hate mechanic.

Unlocking Queen of Hatred in Legacy Piece requires several different types of progression, but the entire questline follows a clear path once you know the requirements. The most time-consuming parts are likely collecting 100 Parts, getting the Heart Glow Butterfly Fish, and repeatedly farming the dungeon for the final materials.
