Projection Update Jujutsu Zero Guide & New Codes!

Jujutsu Zero has received the new Awaken Projection update, bringing a new technique, awakening progression, raid, clan, accessories, skins, quality-of-life changes, and new redeem codes. The update is mainly focused on building around Awaken Projection, with several new materials and rewards tied to the new raid.

There are also two new codes that can give Cursed Crystals, Lumens, and Clan Rolls. Here is everything you need to know about the latest Jujutsu Zero Projection update and how the new progression system works.

Awaken Projection Explained

Awaken Projection is the main addition in this update. Its current base kit contains four skills: Frame Chain, Split Frame, Perpetual Motion, and Mock Break. The awakening also provides movement buffs while focused, while its Super Dash can create afterimages during movement.

The current Awaken Projection progression has one upgrade tree for the base kit. You need Projection Awakening Shards and Steel Frames to unlock its nodes. Both materials can be obtained from the new content introduced with this update, including the new elite raid.

At Node 4, Awaken Projection unlocks the Frame Freeze mechanic. This adds a special bar that can eventually freeze nearby enemies inside a frame for 10 seconds.

While an enemy is frozen, attacks continue building up damage against it. If you manage to land 10 hits during the freeze period, you activate Frame Snap. This deals an additional hit based on the accumulated damage, with a 75% bonus.

Because of this mechanic, the best way to use Frame Freeze is to keep attacking the frozen target instead of waiting for the effect to end. Reaching 10 hits before the freeze expires lets you activate Frame Snap and get the extra damage.

The current update only introduces the base Awaken Projection kit. More content is planned for the technique, including an enhanced skill set, Ultimate Skill, refined passive, and Domain.

Awaken Projection Skins

The update also adds new skins for Awaken Projection. These skins are not only cosmetic because they provide different bonuses and have different ways to obtain them.

The first skin is Boosted, which can be purchased from the Skin NPC Shop. It provides:

• 10% Damage Bonus
• 10% Attack

There is also the Elite Awaken Projection skin. This one provides much larger bonuses:

• 35% Awaken Projection Damage
• 150% Critical Damage

The Elite skin requires a special token. You can get the token from Crate Reigns and then exchange it through the Token Exchanger.

New Zenin Elite Clan

A new clan called Zenin Elite has also been added with the Projection update. This clan is designed to work together with Awaken Projection and provides buffs related to the technique.

Zenin Elite can be obtained as a rare drop from the new Zenin Elite raid. Players can also obtain it through the available shop bundle.

If you are planning to build your character specifically around Awaken Projection, this clan is one of the new progression options worth working toward.

Zenin Elite Raid

Zenin Elite is the new raid added in the update. The raid comes with three different difficulty levels, with level requirements ranging from 7,000 to 11,000.

The boss uses Awaken Projection abilities during the fight, allowing players to see several of the new technique’s mechanics in action. The higher difficulty levels naturally provide better rewards and are aimed at players with stronger builds.

Each clear gives between three and seven Inheritance Crates depending on the difficulty. These crates are a new reward type introduced alongside the raid.

The raid can also reward:

• Lumens
• Yen
• Up to 2.85 million Player Experience per clear
• Projection Awakening materials
• Zenin Elite clan drop
• Motion Cog

Motion Cog is especially important for Awaken Projection players because it is used to craft the Frame Counter accessory.

Frame Counter Accessory

Frame Counter is a new Special Grade accessory designed around Awaken Projection. Its purpose is to provide additional buffs for players using the new technique.

The main crafting material for Frame Counter is Motion Cog, which can be obtained from the Zenin Elite raid. This makes the new raid an important farming location if you want to complete an Awaken Projection-focused build.

With the awakening materials, clan, skin token, and accessory material all connected to the new content, players who want to maximize Projection will have plenty of reasons to keep running the raid.

New Killing Intent Accessory

Players using PHR builds also received a new Special Grade accessory called Killing Intent.

This accessory provides buffs for Hanoyagi and other PHR weapons. Unlike Frame Counter, its crafting progression is connected to the Tsuguri raid.

The main material needed to craft Killing Intent is Broken Blade. This material drops from the Tsuguri raid, giving PHR players another item to work toward alongside their existing weapons and equipment.

New Faction Raid

The update also introduces a new Faction Raid for players looking for another large-scale challenge. The raid has 25 trillion HP and can reward up to 150 million experience.

Completing the raid also provides a 15% Critical Damage reward. However, this particular reward is capped at five completions.

The Faction Raid is also being used for a new fastest-clear leaderboard. This gives factions a way to compete based on how quickly they can complete the raid.

There is also a possibility that this raid could become connected to higher faction levels in a future update, although that has not been confirmed as a requirement yet.

Crate Reigns Changes

Crate Reigns has received an expanded reward pool with this update. More progression materials and additional rare items have been added to the available rewards.

One of the items players can look out for is the Elite Awaken Projection skin token. This gives players another reason to participate in Crate Reigns if they want to collect the Elite Projection skin.

The changes also give players more opportunities to obtain progression materials while working toward their builds.

New Progression Menu

A new Progression menu has been added to make character progression easier to follow. It organizes different quest categories and progression goals into a single place.

This should make it easier to see which objectives you have already completed and which parts of your progression still need attention.

More improvements to the Progression menu are also planned for future updates, so this system may become even more useful as additional content is added to Jujutsu Zero.

Equip Best Improvements

The Equip Best feature has also received an update. It can now support more gear combinations when automatically selecting equipment for your character.

However, the feature is still not completely accurate. You should check your character’s stats and set bonuses after using Equip Best, especially if your equipment has random bonuses.

Simply equipping the items recommended by the system may not always result in the best possible build for your specific stats.

Other Quality of Life Changes

Several smaller changes have also arrived with the Projection update. The currency displays on the HUD are now interactable, making them more useful while checking your resources.

Players can also change their faction icon. Damage indicators have been made smaller to reduce how much they cover the screen during combat.

The image used for the Suguri raid has also been fixed as part of the update’s smaller visual improvements.

New Jujutsu Zero Codes

Two new codes have been added alongside the Projection update. Make sure to redeem both because they provide a combined amount of useful resources.

The Awaken Projection update adds a new progression path to Jujutsu Zero, with the technique itself currently centered around Frame Freeze and Frame Snap. The update is not finished yet, either. The current Projection awakening is only the base version, while the enhanced skills, Ultimate, refined passive, and Domain are planned for later.
