How to Unlock Arrow Manipulation in Slayers 2 Guide

Arrow Manipulation is one of the ranged Evil Arts available in Slayers 2. This ability lets your character control powerful arrows for attacking enemies, tracking targets, and even moving around the map. Before you can use the fighting style, however, you need to find the Arrow Orb and complete its required training tasks.

The unlocking process is not too difficult once you know where to go. You will need to complete four training challenges in a specific order, then equip the fighting technique and unlock its skills through the Skill Tree.

How to Get Arrow Manipulation in Slayers 2

The first thing you need is an Arrow Orb. This item can be obtained from several types of Chests throughout Slayers 2, giving you another reason to keep opening chests while exploring the world.

There is also another possible way to get the Blood Demon Art by becoming a Demon through Muzan and rolling for a Blood Demon Art. However, if you specifically want Arrow Manipulation through the Arrow Orb, follow these steps:

  1. Get an Arrow Orb and keep it in your inventory.
  2. Open your inventory and equip the Arrow Orb.
  3. After using the Orb, the Arrow Manipulation training will become available.
  4. Complete the four training tasks in order.
  5. Finish all four challenges to unlock Arrow Manipulation.
  6. Equip the fighting technique from your inventory.
  7. Use the Skill Tree to unlock its available moves.

The four required tasks are Aim Training, Boulder Push, Meditation, and defeating five Mizunotos. You cannot simply complete them in any order, so make sure you follow the required sequence.

Arrow Orb Drop Chance in Slayers 2

The Arrow Orb can come from different Chests, but the drop rate depends on which Chest you open. Most of the listed Chest types have a 2% chance of giving you the Orb, while some have lower odds.

Here are the known Arrow Orb drop chances:

  • Ice Chest — 2%
  • Rare Chest — 2%
  • Sealed Cache T1 — 2%
  • Sealed Cache T2 — 2%
  • Sealed Cache T3 — 2%
  • World Events Chest — 2%
  • Common Chest — 1%
  • Lost Chest — 1%
  • Snow Chest — 0.67%

Since the Arrow Orb is not guaranteed, getting it may require opening multiple Chests. Farming Chest locations and checking World Events can give you more opportunities to find one.

Arrow Manipulation Training Tasks

After equipping the Arrow Orb, you must complete four training challenges. These tasks are fairly simple, but they need to be completed in the correct order before the Arrow Manipulation technique is awarded.

1. Complete Aim Training

The first challenge is Aim Training. This task is designed to test your accuracy and can be completed at the training area inside Butterfly Estate.

Head to Butterfly Estate and locate the Aim Training activity. Complete the challenge successfully to move on to the next part of the Arrow Manipulation training.

2. Complete Boulder Push

The second requirement is Boulder Push. This challenge involves completing the Boulder Push training activity, which can be found near Bamboo Grove.

Travel to the area beside Bamboo Grove and interact with the training activity. Finish the challenge successfully before moving to the next task.

3. Complete Meditation

Next, you need to complete the Meditation mini-game. This is another training activity located at Butterfly Estate, so you can return there after finishing the Boulder Push challenge.

Start the Meditation activity and complete the mini-game. Once it is finished, you will only have one final requirement left before Arrow Manipulation becomes available.

4. Defeat Five Mizunotos

The final training task requires you to defeat five Mizunotos. These enemies can be found around the Mistfall Harbor area, near the Shady Individual Rooyi NPC.

Defeat five Mizunotos to complete the last part of the Arrow Manipulation training. Once all four tasks have been completed, the Arrow Manipulation fighting technique will be added to your inventory.

Equip it to your hotbar and open the Skill Tree to start unlocking its moves.

All Arrow Manipulation Moves in Slayers 2

Arrow Manipulation comes with five main abilities. The moves are assigned to the Z, X, C, V, and B keys on PC. Most of its attacks focus on ranged damage, tracking enemies, and keeping opponents at a distance.

The fighting style also has several abilities that can launch enemies into the air, making it useful for players who want a ranged moveset with crowd-control effects.

Z — Arrow Flight

  • Skill Points: 3
  • Mastery Level: None
  • Type: Ranged / Movement

Arrow Flight is the first Arrow Manipulation ability you can unlock. The skill allows you to ride a rock while flying around and damaging opponents.

It also has another version where your character lifts a larger rock and launches it toward enemies. This gives the move both mobility and offensive uses.

X — Arrow Eruption

  • Skill Points: 6
  • Mastery Level: 5
  • Type: Area Attack

Arrow Eruption surrounds your character with several arrows that attack enemies within the ability’s range.

This makes it useful when multiple enemies are close to you. Instead of focusing on a single target, the attack can hit opponents caught within its area of effect.

C — Arrow Smackdown

  • Skill Points: 9
  • Mastery Level: 10
  • Type: Tracking / Crowd Control

Arrow Smackdown fires a homing arrow toward your target. If the attack connects, the enemy is launched into the air before being slammed back down.

Because the attack tracks its target, it can be useful against enemies that are moving around during combat. The launch and slam effect also gives the ability a crowd-control function.

V — Torrential Arrows

  • Skill Points: 12
  • Mastery Level: 40
  • Type: Tracking / Ranged

Torrential Arrows creates three arrows that automatically track the target. Each projectile can damage the opponent, launch them into the air, and bring them back down.

The attack can also deal area damage when multiple enemies are within range. You will need Mastery Level 40 before this ability can be unlocked.

B — Koketsu Arrow

  • Requirement: Defeat Yahari to obtain the Koketsu Arrow
  • Mastery Level: 53
  • Type: Ultimate Attack

Koketsu Arrow is the ultimate move for Arrow Manipulation. It requires Mastery Level 53, along with obtaining the Koketsu Arrow by defeating Yahari.

The attack launches a homing projectile that marks the target. After the initial hit, additional projectiles follow up and deal increased damage, making it the strongest ability in the Arrow Manipulation moveset.

Is Arrow Manipulation Worth Unlocking?

Arrow Manipulation is built around ranged combat rather than forcing you to stay directly beside your opponent. Its tracking attacks can follow targets, while several moves can launch enemies and create openings for additional attacks.

The fighting style also has some mobility through Arrow Flight, giving it more utility than a moveset focused purely on ranged damage. If you already have the Arrow Orb, completing the four training challenges is the main step needed to start building the fighting style.

Once you unlock it, focus on raising your Mastery Level and collecting enough Skill Points to access the stronger abilities. The later skills, especially Torrential Arrows and Koketsu Arrow, require significantly more progression.

Getting Arrow Manipulation in Slayers 2 starts with finding the Arrow Orb and then completing four training challenges. The required order is Aim Training, Boulder Push, Meditation, and finally defeating five Mizunotos around Mistfall Harbor.

After finishing the training, equip the technique and use the Skill Tree to unlock its five moves. With ranged attacks, homing projectiles, crowd control, and a movement skill, Arrow Manipulation gives players plenty of options for fighting enemies from a safer distance.
