Races in Clover Time work as passive bonuses that improve different character stats. The race you get can affect things like Health Regen, Stamina Regen, Mana, Mana Regen, and EXP Gain. Because these bonuses are always active, getting a race that fits your playstyle can make a noticeable difference while exploring, fighting enemies, and leveling up.

There are several races available, ranging from the very common Human to the extremely rare Devil. Players can change their current race by using Race Rerolls, which can be obtained in several ways throughout the game.

Clover Time Race Tier List

The race tier list below is based on the overall strength of the passive bonuses listed for each race. Rarity and the number of useful stats are also considered, but the best race for you can still depend on your playstyle and build.

All Races in Clover Time

Each race has its own set of passive bonuses and rarity. Human is the most common race, while Devil has the lowest listed chance. The higher-rarity races generally provide stronger stat bonuses, making Race Rerolls useful for players who want to improve their character. The current races and their effects are:

Human — Common (94.70%)

  • 5% Health Regen
  • 5% Stamina Regen
  • 5% Mana Regen
  • 5% EXP Gain

Dwarf — Epic (3.21%)

  • 25% Health Regen
  • 5% Stamina
  • 25% Stamina Regen
  • 55 Mana
  • 15% Mana Regen

Human-Dwarf — Legendary (1.43%)

  • 30% Health Regen
  • 3% Stamina
  • 40% Stamina Regen
  • 15% Mana
  • 40% Mana Regen
  • 15% EXP Gain

Elf — Mythic (0.56%)

  • 30% Stamina Regen
  • 30 Mana
  • 120 Mana
  • 60% Mana Regen
  • 25% EXP Gain
  • 30% Health Regen

Devil — 0.10%

  • 20% Health
  • 80% Health Regen
  • 80% Stamina Regen
  • 45% Mana
  • 250 Mana
  • 80% Mana Regen
  • 40% EXP Gain

The exact value of each bonus makes a difference when building your character. For example, races with high Mana and Mana Regen can be useful for players who frequently rely on magic, while stronger Health or Stamina bonuses can help with survivability and movement.

How to Get Race Rerolls in Clover Time

Race Rerolls are the main way to change your character’s current race. You do not have to stay with the race you initially receive, as rerolls give you another chance to obtain a different one.

Race Rerolls can be obtained through several methods:

  • Purchasing them from the in-game shop.
  • Redeeming certain Clover Time codes.
  • Getting them as special drops from bosses.

Since the rarer races have much lower chances, getting something like Elf or Devil can require multiple rerolls. Players who are specifically trying to obtain a rare race should therefore save their available rerolls instead of spending them immediately.

How to Reroll Your Race Through Character Customization

One of the easiest ways to change your race is through the Character Customization menu. This option allows you to access the same race-related reroll interface without needing to search for an NPC.

Open your character customization screen and move through the available sections until you find the menu containing Race, Social Class, and Traits. From there, you can use an available Race Reroll to roll for a new race.

Make sure you are comfortable replacing your current race before confirming the reroll, especially if you already have a rare race with useful bonuses.

How to Reroll Your Race at Hage Village

Another option is to visit the Hage Priest NPC in Hage Village. The NPC can be found inside the church, making this a useful location to remember when you want to manage your character’s race.

To reroll your race through the Hage Priest:

  1. Travel to Hage Village.
  2. Find the church.
  3. Enter the church and look for the Hage Priest.
  4. Interact with the NPC.
  5. Open the Race Reroll menu.
  6. Use a Race Reroll to get a new race.

The Hage Priest provides the same Race Reroll menu available through Character Customization, so you can use whichever method is more convenient.

Which Race Should You Try to Get?

The race you want depends on how you play Clover Time and which stats you want to improve. There is no need to focus only on rarity, since the most useful bonus can depend on your build and how often you use certain abilities.

Human provides small bonuses across several stats and has a very high chance of appearing. Dwarf offers stronger regeneration and Mana bonuses, while Human-Dwarf provides larger Stamina and Mana regeneration alongside an EXP bonus.

Elf has considerably stronger Mana-related bonuses and a higher EXP bonus, making it an interesting option for magic-focused characters. Devil has the lowest listed chance and provides large bonuses across Health Regen, Stamina Regen, Mana, Mana Regen, and EXP Gain.

Clover Time races provide passive stat bonuses that can affect how your character performs throughout the game. There are currently five listed races, with Human being the most common and Devil having the lowest listed chance. Players can use Race Rerolls from the shop, codes, or boss drops to try for a different race.

If you want to reroll, you can use the Character Customization menu or visit the Hage Priest inside the church in Hage Village. Before spending your rerolls, check the bonuses carefully and consider which stats are most useful for your current build.
