Traits in Clover Time give your character additional passive bonuses that can improve important stats. Depending on the Trait you roll, you can gain more Health, Stamina, Mana, regeneration, EXP, or Yuls. These bonuses can help your character perform better during combat, exploration, farming, and leveling.

Traits have different rarities and roll chances. Common Traits are much easier to obtain, while Mythic Traits have a much lower chance. If you are not happy with your current Trait, you can use the reroll system through Character Customization or the Hage Priest in Hage Village.

Clover Time Trait Tier List

The following Clover Time Trait tier list is based on the overall value of the passive bonuses provided by each Trait. Higher tiers generally offer stronger combinations of stats, although the most useful Trait can still depend on how you play and which stats your build needs.

S Tier

  • Chosen One

A Tier

  • Mana Sensitive
  • Strong Body

B Tier

  • High Mana
  • Fast Learner

C Tier

  • Iron Lungs
  • Thick Skin
  • Steady Hands
  • Coin Eye

Chosen One is placed in S Tier because it provides bonuses across almost every major stat. It gives Health, Health Regen, Stamina, Stamina Regen, Mana, Mana Regen, and EXP, making it a very flexible Trait for different builds.

Mana Sensitive is an excellent option for magic-focused characters because of its 35% Mana Regen and 12.5% Mana bonus. Strong Body is also useful for players who want better survivability and stamina regeneration.

High Mana is mainly focused on Mana and Mana Regen, while Fast Learner provides Mana Regen and a useful EXP bonus. These Traits can be valuable depending on whether you prioritize magic or leveling.

The remaining Common and Uncommon Traits provide more specialized bonuses. They are easier to obtain but generally offer smaller stat improvements compared with the higher-rarity options.

What Is the Best Trait in Clover Time?

Chosen One stands out because it improves several important parts of the character at the same time. Rather than focusing on one particular stat, it gives bonuses to Health, Stamina, Mana, regeneration, and EXP.

Mana Sensitive is another strong choice, especially for characters that depend heavily on magic. Its Mana and Mana Regen bonuses can help maintain abilities more consistently.

Strong Body is more focused on Health and Stamina. Its Health Regen and Stamina Regen bonuses make it useful for players who want a more durable character.

However, Trait value can change depending on your build. A player who focuses on magic may prefer Mana Sensitive or High Mana, while someone who spends more time fighting or moving around the map may find Health and Stamina bonuses more useful.

How to Reroll Traits in Clover Time

If you want to replace your current Trait, Clover Time provides two ways to access the Trait Reroll system. Both methods lead to the same type of reroll menu.

You can reroll Traits through:

  • The Character Customization menu.
  • The Hage Priest NPC in Hage Village.

Before rerolling, check the bonuses of your current Trait. There is no guarantee that the next roll will be better, so replacing a useful Trait can result in a less suitable one.

How to Reroll Traits Through Character Customization

The Character Customization menu provides a quick way to access the Race, Social Class, and Traits system. You can use this menu to roll for another Trait without needing to travel to Hage Village.

Open Character Customization and scroll through the menu until you find the Race/Social Class/Traits section. From there, select the Trait option and use your available reroll to receive a new Trait.

This method is especially convenient when you are already managing your character’s other customization options.

How to Reroll Traits With the Hage Priest

The second method requires you to visit the Hage Priest NPC. He can be found inside the church in Hage Village and provides the same Trait Reroll menu.

To reroll your Trait through the NPC:

  1. Go to Hage Village.
  2. Find the church.
  3. Enter the church.
  4. Speak with the Hage Priest.
  5. Open the Trait Reroll menu.
  6. Use a reroll to roll for a new Trait.

The Hage Priest is also useful if you prefer accessing the customization system directly from the game world.

Which Trait Should You Aim For?

The Trait you should aim for depends on the stats that matter most to your character. Chosen One provides the broadest selection of bonuses, while Mana Sensitive is more focused on Mana and Mana Regen. Strong Body is another well-rounded option with strong Health and Stamina regeneration.

For players who are still developing their character, a Trait that improves several stats can be useful because it does not lock the build into one particular playstyle. More specialized Traits can become attractive later when you know exactly which stats your character needs.

Since Chosen One has only a 0.56% chance, getting it can take a significant number of rolls. Legendary and Epic Traits are also considerably rarer than Common and Uncommon options, so saving rerolls can be useful when you are trying to obtain a specific Trait.

Traits are an important part of character customization in Clover Time because they provide passive bonuses that remain active during gameplay. The current list includes nine Traits, with Chosen One having the highest listed rarity at Mythic and Common Traits such as Steady Hands, Thick Skin, and Coin Eye appearing much more frequently.

Based on their listed effects, Chosen One is placed in S Tier, Mana Sensitive and Strong Body in A Tier, High Mana and Fast Learner in B Tier, while the remaining Traits are placed in C Tier. This tier list is based on the overall usefulness of their passive bonuses and is not an official ranking from the developers.

When you are ready to try for a different Trait, use the Character Customization menu or visit the Hage Priest inside the Hage Village church to access the reroll system.
