How to Get True Muramasa and Dreadbroom in King Legacy Update 11 Guide

King Legacy Update 11 introduced two new swords that players can add to their collections: True Muramasa and Dreadbroom. However, obtaining these weapons is not as simple as buying them from an NPC, as each sword has a different requirement.

True Muramasa is a rare chest reward that requires players to defeat a specific boss in the Third Sea. Meanwhile, Dreadbroom is a craftable weapon that needs several materials from the Halloween event. Here is how to obtain both swords in King Legacy.

How to Get True Muramasa in King Legacy

True Muramasa is one of the new swords added in Update 11. To obtain this weapon, you need to defeat either the Turtle Boss or Depth King in the Third Sea. After defeating one of these bosses, a special gate called the Gate of Behmoth will open on the same island.

Enter the gate and look for the chest inside. True Muramasa has a 4% drop chance, meaning you might need to defeat the boss multiple times before getting the sword. Follow these steps to obtain True Muramasa:

  1. Travel to the Third Sea.

  2. Wait for the Turtle Boss or Depth King to spawn.

  3. Defeat the boss to unlock the Gate of Behmoth.

  4. Find the gate near the boss’s island.

  5. Enter the gate and open the chest.

  6. Keep repeating the process until True Muramasa drops.

Since the sword only has a 4% drop rate, getting it may take several attempts. Make sure to prepare a strong build before challenging these bosses, especially Depth King, which has a massive health pool.

How to Get Dreadbroom in King Legacy

Unlike True Muramasa, Dreadbroom is a craftable sword introduced as part of Update 11 and the Halloween celebration. You can create this weapon by collecting specific materials and bringing them to Broomhilda NPC on Halloween Island.

There are four required materials, and some of them can take quite a while to obtain. Here is the complete list:

  • 750x Cursed Candy

  • 1x Corrupted String

  • 1x Rotten Handle

  • 1x Withered Straw

How to Get Cursed Candy

You need 750 Cursed Candy to craft Dreadbroom, making this one of the main materials you should farm first. One way to collect it is by using the Legacy Pose to locate the next Halloween Boss on the island.

Wait for the boss to spawn, then defeat it to receive Cursed Candy. You can also farm this material by fighting Skull King in the Second Sea.

How to Get Corrupted String

Corrupted String is another required material, but obtaining it depends on defeating Skull King. This item has a relatively low 1.8% drop chance, so you may need several attempts. Follow these steps to get Corrupted String:

  1. Travel to the Second Sea.

  2. Find the Halloween Event Island.

  3. Talk to the Forsaken Grave NPC.

  4. Pay 200 Candies to summon Skull King.

  5. Defeat Skull King and hope for Corrupted String to drop.

Because of its low drop rate, prepare for multiple boss fights before obtaining this material.

How to Get Rotten Handle

Rotten Handle can be crafted directly through Broomhilda NPC on Halloween Island. Instead of farming it as a boss drop, you need to collect the required materials and exchange them with the NPC. The crafting requirements are:

  • 300x Candies

  • 10x Twilight’s Orb

  • 100x Undead’s Ooze

  • 250x Logs

Once you have collected everything, visit Broomhilda and craft the Rotten Handle.

How to Get Withered Straw

Withered Straw is the final material needed to craft Dreadbroom. You can obtain it by defeating Jack-O’-Lantern in the Third Sea. Travel to the Third Sea, locate Jack-O’-Lantern, and defeat the boss to get a chance at receiving Withered Straw. Keep farming the boss if the material does not drop on your first attempt.

True Muramasa and Dreadbroom are two new swords introduced in King Legacy Update 11, but their acquisition methods are completely different. True Muramasa requires players to defeat the Turtle Boss or Depth King and open the chest inside the Gate of Behmoth, while Dreadbroom requires four materials that can be collected through boss fights and crafting.

If you want to obtain both weapons, start farming the required materials early and prepare for several boss encounters. True Muramasa’s 4% drop chance and Corrupted String’s 1.8% drop chance mean that patience will be important during the farming process.
