iPhone 6S Image Stabilization : All Information You Should Know
iPhone 6S Image Stabilization : All Information You Should Know
There are many features that equipped with the iPhone 6S, now we will talking about the iPhone 6S image stabilization. The 6S has no ability to using an Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) when recording a video. It still only has an ability for Digital Image Stabilization (DIS). The differences between OIS and DIS is basically DIS relies on software to help stabilize the camera to compensate for potential shakes. While the OIS is an actual sensor that built into the camera to offset any shakes while you are taking photos.
Thus, now we have already know that the iPhone 6S has only digital image stabilization, not an optical image stabilization. The other changes that were made by Apple include bumping the resolution for panoramas to 63MP vs 43MP in the previous iPhone. We have already know that the improved stabilization made to get a better camera, especially in low-light conditions.
Many peoples have been comparing the image stabilization ability of new handsets with each other. Which one is the best, the iPhone 6S with (DIS) digital image stabilization or the iPhone 6S Plus with its (OIS) optical image stabilization?
There is a video that released by Giga-Tech YouTube channel. This is should give you an idea if you take a lot of videos, then the extra stabilization capabilities of the iPhone 6S Plus may well be worth the extra expense and trade off in pocketability. You need to check the video out in 4K resolution for yourself. But please ask first this question for yourself: if you have the choice of iPhone 6S to get and think there may be a time when OIS makes its presence known, why would not you go for the iPhone 6S Plus?
However, the final decision is in your hand. As we know that Apple must have their reason to make a different ability of image stabilization on the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. You may only need to pair with your camera needs. The iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus has their own character, then I think the DIS and OIS has a little difference. What would we have with a phone camera? If you like to get a professional image result, you only need to get a pro Digital Camera like Canon, Nikon, or etc. That will be better when you need a great result, so far the DIS or OIS is both better for me. I think that is all information. Please let us know your opinion about iPhone 6S Image Stabilization on the comment.
