Pokemon GO is Making a Collaboration Event With One Piece
If you inspired by Luffy and want to be a pirate king then you might not miss out this event! Pokemon Go will make a collaboration event with One Piece. The collaboration will start on 22 July to 29 July 2019.
This event is made to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of Pokemon, and the 22th Anniversary of the One piece series. In this event there will be a special Pikachu that will use a Straw Hat which is the trade mark hat for the Monkey D Luffy in the anime / manga series. You can find the special Pokemon roaming around during the event time.
There are also a new customization character item such as Straw Hat that you can make your character / avatar use in the game. The coolest thing is, if you are around Japan, especially in Kumamoto area you can see a One Piece sculpture made by Eichiro Oda that can be used as a PokeStop. The statue is also made to remember the Earthquake disaster that hit Kumamoto last year too.
